8. Uses of Radiant Energy READ! What is radiant energy? A. Radiant energy is the energy that travels through space in all direction in the form of electromagnetic waves. These waves are capable of moving through empty space. Radiant energy may come from a natural source like sun and moon. It may also come from a man-made source as in light bulb, bonfires and candle. B. Radiant energy maybe used in healing wounds, disinfecting materials or used in killing harmful microorganisms, drying and warming things, detecting tumors and other diseases.
