Objective

To enhance the capacity and ability of community preparedness
by equipping LGUs and disaster managers with information and
tools in implementing science-based disaster risk reduction and
management (DRRM) to build safer communities.



Outputs

- Local chief executives (LCEs) and disaster managers
will continue to review and update their disaster plans
and land use plans using the new hazard tools and
information from the implementers.

- Implementers will use the lessons, best practices and
feedback from the breakout sessions to fine tune
protocols.

- LCEs and national agencies in NDRRMC will continue
to coordinate in updating disaster plans.
