Scope of Sociology: Sociology seeks to explore how societies emerge,persist and then change.Its scope includes study of social groups,social institutions and social process.Scope of Sociology is more in the direction of an analysis of social problems and not in normative suggestion of solutions for these social problems.

3. Different subjects have been learnt in intermediate and every subject has different different scopes like if I have any problem (headache)with my body then this is the Biologically scope.of bio. Sociology emerged in the Europe and when troubles occurred then for those troubles sociology was the main subject for identifications of solutions and scope extend slowly Slowly.

We divided it in two shcool of thoughts. Formalistics/Specialistics school of thoughts. Synthetic shcool of thoughts.

According to them sociology can not study social life as a whole.Hence the scope of Sociology is very limited.According to this shcool of thoughts the scope of sociology consists of forms of social relationships.

7. ii-Pure and independent. Sociology scope is limited according to this shcool of thoughts. Sociology is the specific subject and it's scope.is narrow and also its called pure independent. Pure means without practical work just has to study history and independent means without linked or concern to other social sciences. In last lecture we learnt that Sociology is the family member of social sciences But here according to this shcool of thoughts its not a family member of social sciences.
