The POSDCORB View : Luther Gulick : Is the profounder of this view. He believed that administration consists of seven elements. These elements explain the functions of executive branch of the government in the following way so.

1. P PLANNING Every organisation does some form of Planning, as they have to prepare for futur. In large organisations , planning is done by separate groups. In planning process the aim is to get Profit for organisations through plans.

2. O ORGANIZING : It means to bring the resources like materials, machines, etc and to use thon In organisation.Organisation means establishing effective behavioural relationship among persons so that they may work together. In this the tasks will divided into groups.

3. S STAFFING : Staffing refers to manpower required for the execution of a business plan. Staffing deals with the recruitment, placement, training and development of Organisation members. The staffs should be promoted according to their performance.

4. D DIRECTING : It deals with guiding and instructing people to do the work in right mannes One boss should give the instruction to their groups of employees. It also involves communicating, leading an d motivating ..

5. CO CO- ORDINATING : It is the process of integrating the activities of two or more units of an organisation in order to achieve the goals.In this the work should divide into Small parts (or) departments.In this departmental interests are placed above organisational interests

6. R REPORTING : Reporting involves regularly updating the Superior about progress activities. The Statts should come in a proper time to organisation and complete their daily tasks. β†’ The Superior should have to report the problems.
