Spitting Stats:
The Brand identity of a sports broadcaster
By: Victor Sepulveda

Introduction
Welcome, my name is Victor Sepulveda. In this
presentation, we will be going over what makes
my brand, my brand. Here we will dicuss my choice
in font styles, and color pallate, and the reasons
behind my choices.

Font Families
Headers: Modesto Condensed Regular
For my headers, I decided to go with "Modesto Condensed" due to its bold characters, eye-catching
appearance, and an easy to look at font. This font is a part of the Parkinson Type Design, and is one of the
26 variations of "Modesto". With its bold lettering, it will easily attract and retain the attention any who
come across it.
Paragraph Font: Tablet Gothic Oblique
I decided to go with the "Tablet Gothic Oblique" for the body font. This font should be easy on readers' eyes
and keep their attention with its curious style. The style was chosen as it appeard entertaining to me, and
since my identity brand is the " Entertainer", I dedcided this would best reflect that. The purpose of my
fonts are for people to feel as if they are having fun reading and observing what I put out, which is
reflected in this quirky font.

Blue is a color of
elegance, royalty, and
wisdom. A sports
broadcaster would use
this color to show he is
one who can be trusted
to give you correct
information.
Gray is a color that is used
to show stability ,
neutrality, while not
appearing too formal.
This helps keep the light
hearted ambiance a
sportscaster might look
for.
Yellow is a color that shows
optimisum, cheerfulness, and
joy. This helps as the color
also makes those who
observe the color take action
and make quick decisions.
A simple, clean, and pure
color, white is always
useable no matter what
the project. For a
sportscaster, white is a
bland color, but using it in
highlights for thier brand
will give things that clean
finish.

Selection Rationale
Font Selctions
My decision to pick both "Modesto Condndsed" and "Tablet Gothic Oblique" stemmed from my desire to have
eye-catching, attention-retaining fonts. With both of the fonts belonging to tthe sans serif family, this gives my
work a modern, sophisicated, and trusting feel. For a sports broadcaster, having an audience who trusts you
and feels that you are always up to date is important. This helps keep those who visit once tocontinuesly come
back form more.
Color Selections
To begin, I chose the color blue to its easy, royal color, which helps a sportscaster portray a level of wisdom
that a viewer can see and trust. Next, the neutrality of gray helps the same viewer understand that a
professional should never let bias enter their work, and should remain in the middle and dedicated to pure
information. Yellow brings a level of enthusiasm into the brand, for as an entertainer, my goal is to make sure
those who come view my work feel happy and enjoy life. Lastly, white is used to give the pure, clean finish to the
brand, as it cleans up any outlying colors.
