10. Installation method 1 Download from Microsoft Store Good option to use on a personal or a work machine. It also doesn't require administrator access. Windows will automatically handle updates as Power BI rolls out new versions.

11. Installation method 2 Download from Web https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/downloads/ Note: Installation file that won't automatically update with new versions that roll out.

12. Installation method 3  Install as part of certain Microsoft 365 subscriptions. Power BI Desktop is provided as part of specific Microsoft 365 packages for enterprise-level usage. If your organization utilizes a compatible version of Microsoft 365, simply communicate with your administrator to request access to Power BI.
