Work in groups of four to speak about a friend’s chores in the house . Example: Alex: What chores does Sam do at home? Bella: He cleans his room every day. Chris: Does he wash the dishes too? Dana: Yes, he washes the dishes after dinner. Alex: Does he water the plants? Bella: Yes, he waters the plants every morning. Chris: Does he take out the trash? Dana: Yes, he takes out the trash every night.

Talk about your daily routine using time expressions. Example: Alex: What time do you wake up every day, Bella? Bella: I wake up at 6:30 AM. How about you, Chris? Chris: I usually wake up at 7:00 AM. What do you do after waking up, Dana? Dana: I have breakfast at 7:30 AM and then I go for a run. What about you, Alex? Alex: I have breakfast at 8:00 AM and then I start my work at 9:00 AM. Bella: Do you have lunch at noon, Chris? Chris: Yes, I have lunch at 12:30 PM. When do you finish your work, Dana? Dana: I finish my work at 5:00 PM. What do you do in the evening, Alex? Alex: I usually relax and watch TV at 7:00 PM.

A presentation about chores you do at home. Using Padlet, create a note describing the household chores that different family members do at home Example: Does your mom cook dinner? Yes, she does. She cooks dinner every night. My dad takes out the trash on Mondays and Thursdays. My sister cleans her room every weekend. Does your brother wash the dishes? No, he doesn’t. I wash the dishes after lunch and dinner.

TRANSFERENCE When you want to talk with a friend about their daily routines or the chores they do at home, you can use present simple questions with "do" or "does." For example, you might ask, "Does your mom cook dinner every day?" or "What does your brother do to help at home?"
