SH Series Electrical Components

Slide Content

SH-3 Series
Electrical Component OrientationElectrical Component Orientation

-3 Series Features
Main Computer Has increased and decreased control of
hydraulic and electrical systems
Additional Engine Computer – ECU (Engine Control
Unit) Different ECU for each model of engine (calibration
not required)
Additional Pump Mode – Auto Mode
MA’s between H & S mode - RPM’s between S & L mode
Anti-Theft Device - Not Activated
Automatic “Power-Up”
H – Automatic, S – Automatic, L – Constant, Auto Mode - Automatic
Two Speed Travel – Quantum has three speed travel

-3 Series Features
Does Not Require Computer Calibration -
“Automatic Adjustment”
Communication Link for “Laptop” - (Not available yet)
No Motor Driver or Throttle Motor
Four Relays - -2 series has Twelve Relays
Pressure Transducers
Main Pressure Transducers (P1 & P2)
Negative Control Pressure Transducer
Monitor is a Transmit and Receive Device –
Transmits to computer as well as receives information from
the computer

-3 Series Features
Four Fusible Links – -2 series has Three
Does Not Increase Pressure When Traveling -
No Power-Up
Throttle Volume Signal Goes Directly to ECU -
Not main computer
No By-Pass Switch to Main Computer
Low Idle-Up - Increased engine rpm with low coolant
temperature or low battery voltage
Trip Meter
Six Stack Solenoid Bank - -2 series has eight stack
solenoid bank. No maximum flow or negative flow control
solenoids

-3 Series Features
Function Shut-Down Circuit is Not Computer
or Relay Controlled
No Shut-Down Relays 1 & 2 (Live / Dead)
No 50% Swing Brake Mode - Swing brake will
release (spring applied & hydraulically released) when
swing pressure swing contacts close or P1 or P2 main
pump pressure transducers record >2175 psi.
