2. SHAKEELA 38Y/F Biopsy proven case of poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma with signet ring cell of rectum (24-03-23) Transverse colostomy (19-04-23) Patient has 8 cycles of chemo and 28 cycles of radiotherapy from GINUM (last cycles of both in June). Past surgical history: polypectomy for endometrial polyp(01-09-2009) Thyroidectomy: for nodular hyperplasia of thryoid.poorly differntiated adenocarcinoma with signet ring cell appearance.

3. On Examination: •Stoma site 5cm below umbilicus. •A swelling of about 15x15 cm right to umbilicus. •Cough impulse +ve (likely para-umbilical hernia.

4. Now referred from GINUM for definitive surgery. CT – CAP films availabe DVD off MRI Available
