2. F I R S T C O M P U T E R
In the twentieth century began a significant development of technology, in particular computer systems. The computer has changedour
way of life greatly, it has become easier: finding information, doing various jobs, making contact around the world, and so on. If we used
to search for the desired information in libraries and various literary institutions, today we can easily view any information with the help
of a computer with a few clicks of the mouse. The idea of ​​creating the first computer appeared in 1940. The idea was realized in 1945 by
the American physicists John Eckert and Jone Mauchiy. The first computer was called ENIAC. This huge box stood in one big room and it
could only do arithmetic calculations. It is true that it was the first computer at the time, but it was completely useless because it only
consumed about as much electricity as a large factory. Perhaps John Ekretm and John Moach could not have imagined that in the21st
century they would invent a small machine of the same capacity, the so-called calculator, which is only a few centimeters long and wide
and consumes very little electricity.
