Texture – is the thinness and thickness of music. Unison – singing single melody alone or with a group example: “Happy Birthday to You” and “For He’s a Jolly Good Fellow” There is also texture with a single melody accompanied by a musical instrument. example: “ Tatlong Bibe ” Some textures have multiple melodic lines played at the same time.

If you can hear only one melodic line the texture is thin. If you hear more than one melodic line, the texture is thick.
