9. Siparila does not hide defects with patching. Instead, they use the top portion of
the tree for a quality of wood that doesn’t require patching.

All of their lumber is visually inspected to ensure that only the best material
makes its way into their siding. This inspection process guarantees that a higher
grade of lumber is used, with tight knots and a straight grain.

10. Siparila uses a multi-stage painting process to ensure the quality and durability
of their finish.

•Siding is primed on ALL sides, immediately after milling. This allows the wood
to pull the primer deeper into the pores for better durability and protection
•Siding is dried with forced air and infrared processes
•First coat of paint is applied
•Product goes through two forced air stages, and then an infrared stage
•Siding rests for at least 24hrs to cool & equalize and give the paint time to
harden
•After the rest period, the final coat of paint is applied
•Siding goes through the drying and infrared process again
•Siding is ready to install when delivered at site
