01 Introduction

Introduction World Antimicrobial Awareness Week (WAAW) is an international movement observed yearly to enhance understanding and knowledge of AMR and promote the best methods among the public, One Fitness stakeholders, and policymakers, who all play a vital role in facilitating the other emergence and reach of AMR.

History The World Health Organization (WHO) launches a feeling of speed around the international issue of antibiotic resistance — and with the right reason. If you create an infection or an illness that can’t be ministered in the standard way with antibiotics, you can die. It’s as easy as that. WHO saw this as an increasing issue all over the globe as poverty-driven diseases caused illnesses and diseases that were increasingly immune to antibiotics. In May 2015, the World Health Assembly elevated this antibiotic opposition to an international crisis.

Why Is Antibiotic Resistance Important? Antibiotics kill bacteria-causing infections and diseases. But there are some diseases where bacteria can grow stronger and even multiply, despite antibiotics. This means deadly diseases can spread unchecked without more potent antibiotics.

How Can We Prevent Antibiotic Resistance? There are several ways to control antibiotic resistance, including talking to your healthcare worker about whether or not you actually need an antibiotic and creating sure you don’t keep antibiotics until your next disease by bringing all antibiotics exactly as specified.

Limit antibiotics to the shortest duration indicated. Prolonged antibiotics increased antibiotic resistance and side effects.

02 About Us

When Was The First World Antibiotic Awareness Week Observed? The correct answer is  16 November to 22 November 2015 . The First World Antibiotic Awareness Week was observed from 16 November to 22 November 2015. It aims to increase awareness of antibiotic resistance.

Limiting Uptake Of A Drug Active Drug Efflux  Modifying A Drug Target Inactivating A Drug 4 Types Of Antibiotic Resistance

3 Main Antibiotics Cephalosporins For Example, Cefaclor, Cefadroxil And Cefalexin Tetracyclines For Example, Tetracycline, Doxycycline And Lymecycline Penicillin's For Example, Phenoxymethylpenicillin, Flucloxacillin And Amoxicillin

Facts About Antibiotic Resistance Antibiotic resistance is a global issue Antibiotic resistance is the result of natural evolution Better infection prevention and control can help reduce antibiotic resistance Poor-quality medicines can contribute to resistance Resistance can be caused by using antibiotics inappropriately

Theme Of World Antimicrobial Awareness Week WAAW is observed from November 18 to 24 every year. The slogan of World Antimicrobial Awareness Week is ' Antimicrobials: Handle with Care .

Only use antibiotics when prescribed by a certified health professional Always take the full prescription, even if you feel better Never use left over antibiotics Never share antibiotics with others Prevent infections by regularly washing your hands, avoiding contact with sick people and keeping your vaccinations up to date Antimicrobial Resistance What You Can Do

Methods Hypothesis Observation Data Sampling Experiments Study

Vancomycin 3.0 Is it one of the most potent antibiotics ever created? It treats conditions like methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus-induced meningitis, endocarditis, joint infections, and bloodstream and skin infections.

Research And Publications Research Discovering new antibiotics, able to kill drug-resistant bacteria, is essential to saving modern medicine Publications Publications make scientific data publically open and let the rest of the literary audience consider the rate of the study.

04 Conclusion

Conclusion World Antibiotic Awareness Week is an essential occasion as it warns people and healthcare employees about antibiotic opposition – an international fitness problem.

Sustainable access to effective antibiotics is essential for the functioning of all health systems. Antibiotic Resistance is threatening a fundamental component for Universal Health Coverage.

How To Edit Shapes You can add and edit some shapes to your presentation to present your data in a visual way. Choose your favourite infographic and insert it in your presentation using Ctrl C + Ctrl V or Cmd C + Cmd V in Mac. Select one of the parts and ungroup it by right-clicking and choosing “Ungroup”. Change the color by clicking on the paint bucket. Then resize the element by clicking and dragging one of the square-shaped points of its bounding box (the cursor should look like a double-headed arrow). Remember to hold Shift while dragging to keep the proportions. Group the elements again by selecting them, right-clicking and choosing “Group”. Repeat the steps above with the other parts and when you’re done editing, copy the end result and paste it into your presentation. Remember to choose the “ Keep source formatting ” option so that it keeps the design. For more info, please visit Slideegg (Tips & Tricks) .
