Today accuracy in electricity billing is highly recommended. The smart energy meter gives real power consumption as well as accurate billing. It provides real time monitoring of electricity uses It is less time consuming and cost effective.

9. 9 SMART METERS Smart meter measuring the electricity and remotely control the supply and cut off when necessary it was called automated meter reading(AMR).AMR is a one way communication and upgrade into two way communication “AMI” technology. “AMR” is older technology only collects data from electrical meter to the utility. but “AMI” is collects the data meter and consumer both.
