2. 2 WHO WE ARE MISSION STATEMENT It is our mission to inspect properties to the detail level that best serves our clients, helping owners protect one of the largest investments in their life and helping developers meet the expectations of the owners, all by providing sound professional advice and exceptional customer service. At aiming to exceed, where possible we also provide recommendations as a suggestion to our clients. Snag & Inspect was founded in 2009 by Douglas Ralph, who after 28 years in the construction and maintenance industry, decided to use his considerable knowledge and expertise to help and assist others in protecting their property investments. Since the early days the company has gone from strength to strength rapidly gaining a reputation for high quality reports, attention to detail and high ethical standards. In late 2011 the company began working with the Dubai Real Estate Regulatory Agency (RERA) by providing support for RERA’s involvement in the implementation of the Emirate’s ‘Strata Law’ introduction, aimed at providing quality consumer protection for property purchasers and support for the Dubai Real Estate Institute (DREI) in their desire to raise the standards of property inspection within the Emirate. In more recent times the company has been involved with Dubai Municipality on the safety of Fairground Rides and been working with Dubai Civil Defense on Fire & Life Safety issues, it has also been involved with the Dubai Government on issues involving building maintenance and on the introduction of auditing programs. .

3. 3 SENIOR MANAGEMENT TEAM The team at Snag & Inspect has over 70 years of inspection experience behind them. Some team members also possess addition skills which include Civil Engineering, Security Systems, Mechanical Engineering and Construction Materials Engineering. Through our Consulting Partners we can also deliver specialist services for A/C systems, and Fire Protection systems. Nigel Taylor General Manager Nigel is a construction professional with 14 years of Military engineering followed by a further 20 years in construction, maintenance, interior fit out and project management. He is a certified InterNACHI Master Inspector who is now the operations manager for Snag and Inspect Dubai. Originally a City and Guilds advanced craft tradesman he has a vast array of practical and management experience in both the British Military and civilian environments in various locations around the world. Nigel has experience in security both in the Military as an Intelligence Sargent and in civilian environment as a locksmith concentrating in commercial and residential installations. For the past 9 years he has been in the UAE continuing his work in construction, property management and inspection for a variety of international clients.

As a Senior Office Administrator, May is in charge in overseeing the office, providing the overall support in management, sales, marketing, customer service and operations. She is also responsible for the ensuring development of strategies, polices and the delivery of services and programs. She has extensive people management experience and hands-on experience leading initiatives including policy design, employee engagement, performance management, recruiting, compliance reporting, HR workflow development, training and development. For over 16 years May has used her skills and a blend of experience in various positions within the private and public sector in Philippines and Dubai to affect positive change in the organizations where she’s worked. May is passionate about understanding what motives people to support them in achieving their full potential.

5. 5 SENIOR MANAGEMENT TEAM Andrei Bacsaev Senior Inspector Andrei is Moldovan, a Master Engineer in Energy and Environment and a licensed Engineer in Thermoenergetics . After his studies at Technological University of Moldova under the Power Engineering Faculty, he has gained his industrial experience in thermo-power engineering, industrial heating energy systems, biomass thermo-power engineering and biomass burning from various industries such as Heat Power Station No. 1 and Termocom J.S.C. He worked as an Energy Audit Expert for Moldovan Sustainable Energy Financing Facility (Mo SEFF) program where he ensures implementation of energy audits for different private Moldavian companies, conducting site visits, preliminary analysis, estimates execution and quotations. He has also dealt with heating, cooling, ventilation load and air conditioning systems for industrial, residential and other types of buildings inclusive of hotels and greenhouses calculation. He has been part of the Snag & Inspect Team for 5 years.

Snag and Inspect has specialized dehumidifier, construction vacuum, blower equipment and humidity sensors to take the moisture out, remove excess water and reduce humidity in order to reach a certain target of dryness required for your property.
