The findings align with existing literature and online surveys, confirming that social phobia is a prevalent and debilitating condition. The high prevalence among women and younger individuals suggests a need for targeted interventions. The significant impact on quality of life underscores the importance of early detection and treatment. Mental health professionals should prioritize CBT in treating social phobia and consider integrating medication for severe cases. There is also a need for increased awareness and support systems to help individuals manage their symptoms effectively.
