What is Soft Skill??? The ability to communicate and interact positively and productively with others. Develop as we age. Not directly taught in school. Relates to our attitude and outlook on life. Difficult to explain, but we easily recognize them.

Also known as "people skills" or "interpersonal skills," soft skills relate to the way you relate to and interact with other people. Example of soft skills include are :- 1. Communication 2. What is Hard Skill??? Hard skills  are specific, teachable abilities that can be defined and measured, such as typing, writing, math, reading and the ability to use software programs. Examples of hard skills include: Proficiency in a foreign language A degree or certificate Typing speed Machine operation Computer programming These hard skills are often listed in your cover letter and on your resume, and are easy for an employer or recruiter to recognize.

Soft Skill vs. Hard skill To be good at hard skills usually takes IQ BUT  To be good at soft skills usually takes Emotional Intelligence or EQ. Hard skills are skills where the rules stay the same BUT  soft skills are skills where the rules changes depending on the company. Hard skills can be learned in school  BUT soft skills are not taught well in school and have to be learned on the job by trial and error . soft skills are more important in most business careers than hard skills.
