LESSON TITLE : Solving Equations Involving Radical Expressions
In solving radical equations you have to follow the following steps: 1. Write the equation such that the radical containing the unknown is on one side of the equation. 2. Combine similar terms. 3. Raise both side of the equation to a power same as the index of the radical . The equation should be free of radical to complete the solution. 4. Check if the value/values obtained will make the original equation true.
