Characteristics of these rivers: short rivers with large flow as they receive a lot of
precipitations. All of them empty in the Cantabrian Ocean.

2. Atlantic watershed.

Most rivers empty in the Atlantic Ocean as the Meseta slopes to the west.

Characteristics of these rivers: short rivers with low flow except for the Ebro. All of them

Curiosities: Lago de Sanabria (Zamora) is the largest lake in Spain, Tablas de Daimiel (Ciudad
