Definition
Gynecologicaldisordersrefersto“disordersthatwouldrequiresurgical
proceduressuchas,butnotlimitedtodilatationandcurettageand
thoseinvolvingfemalereproductiveorganssuchasthevagina,cervix,
uterus,fallopiantubes,ovaries,breast,adnexaandpelvicfloor,as
certifiedbyacompetentphysician.Itshallalsoincludehysterectomy,
ovariectomyandmastectomy.”

Conditions
Tobeentitled,thefollowingconditionsshouldbepresent:
1.Shehasrenderedatleastsix(6)monthscontinuousaggregate
employmentserviceforthelasttwelve(12)monthspriortosurgery;
2.Shehasfiledanapplicationforspecialleavewithheremployerwithina
reasonableperiodoftimefromtheexpecteddateofsurgeryorwithin
suchperiodasmaybeprovidedbycompanyrulesandregulationsor
collectivebargainingagreement;and
3.Shehasundergonesurgeryduetogynecologicaldisordersascertifiedby
acompetentphysician.
