RESULTS Zhang et al., which found that routine CSFD is superior to selective CSFD in reducing the risk of SCI Maier et al. found a 3.9% decrease in SCI rates in patients undergoing CSFD compared to their non-drained counterparts Hnath et al. found an 8% decrease in SCI rates for the same comparison in 121 patients
