Atlanta is the capital of and most populous city in the U.S.
State of Georgia. The Atlanta metropolitan area is home to
5.5 million people, the ninth largest in the United States.
Atlanta is the seventh most visited city in the country at 35
million visitors and the twelfth most popular destination for
overseas visitors at over 712,000 annually. Atlanta is also
home to one of America’s fastest growing Asian populations.
Atlanta has been dubbed everything from the "capital of the
new South" and "the next international city" to "the best
place to do business." It's also a great place to visit. Fueled
by the prosperity of media companies like CNN, a thriving
film industry and local mega companies like Coca Cola,
Porsche, IBM, Mercedes Benz, Home Depot, UPS, AT&T and
Delta Airlines, the prestige of hosting the 1996 Summer
Olympic Games and the energy of young upwardly mobile
types who have migrated to the city in droves--Atlanta is a
city on the move. From world-class universities, award-
winning restaurants, the Tomorrow World International Music
Festival, a myriad of cultural attractions to a hip nightlife
and sporting events galore, the city is cosmopolitan in every
sense of the word.
Atlanta has also managed to maintain its historic character.

King Jr. Historical Site, a moving tribute to an American icon.

ATLANTA: THE HUB AND HEARTBEAT OF
THE SOUTHERN UNITED STATES.
Guests of Foxhall Resort and Sporting Club enjoy
breathtaking views and recreational water access to
the majestic Chattahoochee River, the primary
source of water to not only Atlanta, but the states
of Georgia, Alabama and Florida. Sourcing from the
Blue Ridge Mountains to the north, the river has
been crucial to the fortunes of those inhabiting the
region for thousands of years. In 1945, the United
States Congress passed legislation directing the U.S.
Army Corps of Engineers to build dams and create a
series of large, man-made lakes completed in 1963
ensuring the preservation its pristine beauty and
commercial utility.

LOCATION. LOCATION. LOCATION.
1.5 MILES OF PRECIOUS
RIVER FRONTAGE.
The Foxhall Resort and Sporting Club’s pristine acreage
is a mere 30 minutes from downtown Atlanta and just
43 minutes from the fashionable Buckhead residential
and entertainment district via South Fulton Parkway–-a
major state highway running east-west connecting
Foxhall Resort to downtown Atlanta, Interstate 85 and
Interstate 285. Even more impactful to the enterprise’s
success is that it’slocated just 24 minutes from
Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, the
busiest airport in the world.
As strategically advantageous as this is, it only tells
part of the story. In March of 2014, the Atlanta Regional
Commission formed the Atlanta Aerotropolis Alliance,
which is an economic development coalition of regional
public and private sector leaders. The term,
“Aerotropolis” refers to a coordinated plan to develop
an urban economic ecosystem around an airport. The
first major corporation to sign on was Porsche’s North
American Headquarters and test track.
Foxhall Resort and Sporting Club forms the western
anchor of the 62,500 acre Georgia Aerotropolis Corridor.
