Staff Welfare Definition Employee welfare means anything done for the comfort and social (Mental and Physical) improvement of the employees, In simple words, it means “the efforts to make life worth living for employees.” According to the World Workers Welfare Organization, “In organizations with workers welfare department, boost profit growth 35 % more than that of organizations without it”. In organizations Welfare Department works independently to directly coordinate with staff working in different sections of organization for their betterments. All implements are done under the considerations of Head of Organization
Employee Welfare Team Roles & Responsibilities Welfare Department Manager : A Welfare Department Manager is the one who Plan, direct and coordinate work activities of subordinates and staff relating to employment, compensation, labor relations, employee relations, staff games competition and activates. Plan, organize, direct, control, or coordinate the personnel, training, or labor relations activities of an organization. Responding to client Emails. Welfare Department Officers : A Welfare Officer is the one who is responsible for ensuring the welfare of workers/staff by continuous communication with the organizational management and workers. Supervising welfare audits, organizing activities and games competition with the help of volunteer welfare staff for staff working in organization. Responding and resolving organizational issues for employee’s. Welfare Department Volunteer Staff : Welfare Volunteer staff is responsible to apply all instructions and directions regarding welfare given by welfare officers in their locations. Volunteer staff will actively participate in conducting all activities and sports competition as well as looking forward to resolve staff issues. Event Coordinator : An Event Coordinator is responsible for overseeing particular tasks related to the events ( Eid ul adah , Eid ul Fitar , Christmas, Happy New Year etc ) planning process for labor side area camp. Their responsibilities include meeting with Departmental Managers, venue set-up, collecting (pre-agreed upon) Supplies and decortions and working with staff to ensure the completion of a successful event. Every employee needs to have a normal relationship with their colleagues by communication the right way even their culture is different. How to a complaint? High Priority Complaint If you have a complaint of high priority e.g ; a serious issues bleeding, injuries, infection, Female Personal Issues, Harassment etc . Procedure: You must first communicate with your supervisor or reception, incase if they don’t respond or not respond well then you will call Staff Welfare Team with in 15 to 30 minutes, for immediate action Medium Priority Complaint If you have a complaint of medium priority e.g ; the issue of food, living or laundry etc. Procedure: you must submit the complaint to the reception and your supervisor, if the complaint is not resolved to you after the third reminder, you can communicate with employee welfare team to solve the issue.
