The mission of Success Training Empowerment Program or STEP
Inc. is to provide topical skills and training pertaining to health
and wellness, life, academic, career path development, spiritual,
financial, professional and business success skills to any
community.

This initiative will serve the community as a partnership between
STEP and local agencies, organizations and businesses to
encourage participants and attendees to develop stronger skills in

Career Development 101: The Road to Success
Career Development 101 will provide an entry level understanding to the
career skills, tools and resources. Topics covered will include resume writing,
interviewing, work habits and job searching. Furthermore, students will be
required to perform mock interviews and other role playing activities to
simulate the employment process.

At the end of this course, you will have a working knowledge of the following:

• The Job Search Process online searching, creating job board accounts.
• Writing, editing and presenting a quality resume highlighting skills,
experience and education.
• Writing and submitting cover letters, references and sending thank you
notes following an interview.
• Dressing for an interview and interview do’s and don’ts.
• Job Interviewing one on one, panel and marathon interviews

STEP, Inc. also offers organizational and project related consulting services.
With a tremendous level of expertise in for-profit education, Richard
Covington, CEO has a wealth of knowledge to share with schools and
organizations interested in education, career development, accreditation and
licensure.

STEP's services caters to the small business that may need the assistance but
