7. 1. INTRODUCE THE TOPIC This is the opening statement of your character sketch. Your primary task here is to introduce the person you are to describe and indicate your connection with him or her.

8. 2. EXPLAIN HOW YOU MET. This explains why you need to assure that you knew so well the person you are writing a character sketch. He or she could be your friend, family member, relative or any close person to you. In this step, you need to state the day you started knowing each other.

9. 3. GIVE PHYSICAL DESCRIPTIONS – appearance, voice, mannerisms, skills, so forth. This is the most descriptive part.

10. 4. STATE HIS OR HER PERSONALITY TRAIT # 1 AND SUPPORTING EVIDENCES. Personality trait number 1 focuses on the subject’s fashion.
