The items that you will create will target three 21st-century skills: Problem Solving, Critical Thinking, and Information Literacy. Problem Solving has 3 subskills. First subskill is Analyzing outcome (AO) with indicators like identify association, identify cause and effect, and predict outcome. The item difficulty of Analyzing outcome is "Difficult". Next subskill under Problem Solving is Executing strategy/methods (ESM) with indicators like identify a strategy/method, select appropriate methods to solve the problem, and identify alternative methods to solve the problem. The last subskill under Critical Thinking is Using evidence to formulate an argument (UFA) with indicators like state evidence, link evidence to the argument, and draw a conclusion based on various evidence. The item difficulty of Using evidence to formulate an argument is "Easy". Information Literacy has 3 subskills. First is Ability to communicate information (ACI) with indicators like present information in another medium, organize information in another medium, and re-organize or sequence the information. The item difficulty of Ability to communicate information is "Difficult". Next subskill under Information Literacy is Ability to manage information (AMI) with indicators like classify information, organize structure of the classification, and sequence the information. The item difficulty of Ability to manage information is "Average". The last subskill under Information Literacy is Ability to identify types of information (ITI) with indicators like acknowledge different types of information, present required information when explicitly asked, and interpret questions or forms to provide appropriate information. Hazards mean questions that have DRRR concepts related to Philippine context that the learners have heard or seen. This also includes hazards and mitigation responses from other countries that the learner may have seen or heard from other media. This includes safety protocols and practices. Health and Disease means questions that refer to primary and secondary experiences of the learners in terms of health and diseases in a personal, societal, and global scales. Lastly, Environmental Resources and Quality means questions that have something to do with environmental protection, and current state and quality of the surroundings that the learners have observed in his or her immediate environment and/or seen from other media. This also refers to the renewable, non- renewable, and human resources that the learners have used or experienced from its immediate environment. Please remember these information.
