Stray A nimals INTRODUCTION Nowadays stray animals is a very common problem in our country not only in cities also is growing in small communities. in fact it is a very complex issue, because sometimes these animals are abused and wild animals are taken from their natural habitat for sale.

STRAY ANIMALS Animals that were once owned and have since been disgarded by their owners to live and wander on the streets where they now proliferate and have to fight for their lives daily seeking food.

STRAY ANIMALS Stray and feral animals can rarely survive long on their own. They die of disease, poisoning, starvation, because they don’t know how to survive outside of their natural habitat.

STRAY ANIMALS The plight of strays: is one of the most visible animal welfare issues in the world today. Dogs are one of the most affected animals.

STRAY ANIMALS conflict with human communities Stray dogs, frequently suffering from hunger and illness, seek food and shelter in human communities. They are often seen as a nuisance and health hazard by the people who live alongside them.

STRAY ANIMALS Responsible pet ownership In many countries the majority of stray animals have been abandoned by their owners. WSPA works to provide education about responsible pet ownership: dog identification, vaccination and neutering means fewer animals will end up on the street.
