Some adjectives are normal (or base)adjectives.
good, bad, dirty, pretty, cold, hot etc
NORMAL ADJECTIVES
•Other adjectives are strong (or extreme)
adjectives.
fantastic, awful, filthy, gorgeous etc.
STRONG ADJECTIVES
very –really –absolutely + adjective
We can only use "absolutely" with a strong adjective e.g.
"absolutely fantastic."
We can only use "very" with a base adjective
e.g. "very good."
"Very fantastic" or "absolutely good" are wrong.
However we can use "really" with both base or strong adjectives.
