Structural concrete is a type of concrete used in the building process as part of the structure or used to carry part of the structure’s load.

It’s different from poured concrete, commonly used for paving driveways. That’s because we use structural concrete to build a structure with many components and loads from various angles.

Design Mix
This is the proportioning of the materials needed on concrete mix. Materials must follow the
requirement based on the Project Specifications.
Trial Mix
Trial mix is requested to identify if the design mix will meet the required design strength.
Design mix will be reduce to one (1) cubic meter before trial mix.

11. Initial Inspection of Structure
1.Vapor barrier are installed. This is required if concrete will be directly
casted on earth like on retaining wall, footing, foundation, slab on grade.
Vapor barrier is used as damp protection or moisture accumulation
protection for concrete. Over lapping between two vapor barrier is
150mm.
2.Concrete termination must be free from concrete laitance.
3.Check construction joints detail and location.
4.Reinforcing steel bars are complete, installed properly, and does not
have concrete laitance.
5.Block outs are properly installed.
6.MEFPS roughing-ins and pipe sleeves (correct type and size) must be
installed base on the approved area by the structural designer.
7.Formworks are well plumbed, aligned, and in right elevations.
