Schedule of Reserve Bank of India Act,
1934.Scheduled banks are usually private,
foreign and nationalizedbanksoperating in India

A. COMMERCIAL BANKS
A commercial bank is a type of bank that provides
services such as accepting deposits, making
business loans, and offering basic investment
products that is operated as a business for profit.

PUBLIC SECTOR BANKS –
Public Sector Banks(PSBs) are a major type ofbankin India,
where a majority stake (i.e. more than 50%) is held by a
government. The shares of these banksare listed on stock
exchanges.

Bikaner and Jaipur (SBBJ), State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH), State

different States of India. They have been created
with a view of serving primarily the rural areas of
India with basic banking and financial services .
