2. VACATION IN UNCLE'S HOUSE
During school holidays, Beni visits uncle's house in
Manado. Manado is the capital of North Sulawesi.
Uncle invited Beni to go around town driving a bendi.
Bendi is a traditional Manado transportation tool.
People of Manado have used bendi since a long time
ago. On Java, the bendi is known as Delman or Dokar.
Bendi is a simple tool horse-drawn transportation.

3. Udin and his family went to Cirebon by train.
While on the train, Udin enjoys a beautiful view.
The train crosses the bridge over the river. He saw
green villages and fields. Udin also saw various
vehicles passing by. There are motorbikes, cars,
buses, rickshaws, and buggies. Udin saw
everything from the train window.

4. Special Transportation Equipment
Some transportation equipment is used for special
purposes. This transportation tool is used as needed.
Truck car is a car with large tubs in the back.
Rice, sugar, and flour are transported by the
truck. Sand and cement are also transported
by the truck.
Ambulance car used to transport a sick people.
In an ambulance, there are medical devices.
The ambulance also has a siren. The siren will
sound when the car is running.

5. Another special transportation is a fire truck.
Fire truck used to extinguish fires when there
is a fire. Fire truck also have sirens. We must
give way if the fire engine passes.
