Differentiation in existing product. Reduction in cost. Conservation of material/ energy Improve better process Quality assurance.

Employee’ idea are very important as – 1) They have real knowledge – because they work at grass root level. 2) They encounter the problem – and they have probable solutions. 3) They come from different background – Hence, management gets another perspective.

Objective: Enhance overall workplace efficiency and productivity. Adopt a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Promote involvement, Improve employee engagement and satisfaction. Address specific challenges or areas needing improvement.

Scope : Open to all employees across all departments for Suggestions related with improvement in : a) Production/productivity. b) Differentiation in existing product. c) Improve better process Quality assurance. d) Improve Operation Efficiency. e) Improve Equipment Efficiency. e) Environment & Safety condition. f) Reduction in cost. g) Conservation of material/energy. h ) Safety of Men & Materials.

PROCESS Step-1 : Submission : Suggestions to be submitted via Hard copy through suggestion boxes placed in common areas – Admin / Safety / Control Room. Forms will be available in the suggestion box side folder. Employees should provide a clear description of the suggestion, the problem it addresses, potential benefits, and any supporting information or data. Allow employees to submit suggestions anonymously to encourage openness

PROCESS Step-2 : Acknowledgement : The suggestion boxes will be opened on Bi- Monthly basis – 20 th of 2 nd Month. Acknowledgment of receipt should be sent to the employee within 2-3 working days from the date of opening of Suggestion Boxes. A tracking number will be provided for each suggestion to allow employees to check the status.

PROCESS Step-3 : Evaluation : Evaluation of the suggestions based on feasibility, potential impact, cost, alignment with company goals, and ease of implementation. Review and respond to each suggestion within 2-4 weeks from the date of opening of Suggestion Boxes. Choose the “Best Suggestion for Bi-month” as well as “Significant Idea awards” Choose all the monthly and yearly Suggestion awards.

PROCESS Step-4 : Feed Back : Inform the employee about the status of their suggestion – whether it’s accepted, under consideration, or declined . Provide a brief explanation if a suggestion is not accepted through respective department heads.

PROCESS Step-5 : Implementation : Develop an action plan for implementing accepted suggestions, including timeline, resources needed, and responsible parties . If feasible, test the suggestion on a small scale before full implementation. Roll out the suggestion company-wide if the pilot is successful.

PROCESS Step-6 : Recognition and Rewards Publicly recognize employees whose suggestions are implemented. Offer incentives such as monetary rewards, gift cards, professional development opportunities & appraisals.

PROCESS Step-7 : Review & Improve Regularly review the impact of implemented suggestions to ensure they deliver the expected benefits Encourage ongoing feedback and iterate on the suggestion scheme itself to make it more effective.

PROCESS Step-8 : Suggestion Award Scheme : Reward for suggestions with intangible benefits Rs . 2500/- to Rs . 5000/- (based on committee’s decision) Award for suggestions with tangible benefits:- 20% of the annualized savings accrued to the company subject to maximum of Rs . 50,000 /-
