1. God calls you even before you do anything to deserve it. Galatians 1: 15-16 15 (NLT)
15 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb and called me through His grace,
16 to reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the Gentiles.
2. We are called to establish God’s Kingdom.
Genesis 1: 26-28 26 'Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

3. God’s kingdom is spiritual.
John 18:36 Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.”

4 truths about persecution
1. Like every attack of discouragement, there is a trace of truth in the words of the enemy.
James 5:15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick and the Lord will raise him up
2. Vengeance is God’s.
'Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. ' Romans 12:19 NKJV
3. You are under greatest persecution when you are closest to your calling.
'Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.' Matthew 5:10 NKJV
4. No one can curse whom God have blessed.
'But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; ' I Peter 2:9
Why should we respond to God’s Calling?
Be part of it for your own sake. Esther 4:14 For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”
