SSFF Pitch

1. Shadows  A Kenzie Blenkinsopp media production  A  Psychological  Thriller   'Beware the ​shadows' Don’t let  the shadows  get to you

2. LOGLINE         Elizabeth a young woman struggling with mental health issues  Starts seeing shadows which are actively trying to harm her in her own house,  Of which are making her paranoid, will she over come the problems that are occurring or will the shadows collapse her mind.

3. PART ONE SYNOPSIS England, present time Elizabeth an intelligent but a paranoid young woman suffering with mental health problems goes along with her daily tasks as necessary at her home, everything seems to be going normal until. 

4. PART TWO SYNOPSIS Suddenly strange things start to occur, that includes the introduction to the shadows which Elizabeth doesn’t notice until one night waking up in her bed the shadow starts to creep up to her, paralysed from fear Elizabeth can't move or speak her eyes wide open looking up at the shadow. This becomes a common occurrence as the shadows starts appearing more and more frequently, Elizabeth scared, and delusional becomes more paranoid.

5. PART THREE SYNOPSIS Eventually as events go on, the shadows stop appearing Elizabeth notices and starts to feel more relaxed as she is sitting down, it then moves close to her medication that she has been prescribed for her mental health although it appears she has not been taking them and then the shadows appear again.

8. Characters  Tyler Blenkinsopp Lesley  Blenkinsopp (Elizabeth)  The main character of the short film- with pale skin and blue eyes And medium brown hair. (Shadow) The antagonist of my short film. With pale skin and blue eyes and short black hair.

Locations  Location: House  This is an important location as this is where most of my filming will be taking place.  Location: sitting room  The sitting room will be a feature of the film and will showcase the introduction of the antagonist (the shadow) Location: bedroom  The bedroom will be in the short film, and it will show Elizabeth's downfall as she notices the shadow.

10.                               Key scenes   The photograph outlines the key scenes of the storyline for my short film, shown is the protagonist Elizabeth also the antagonist 'the shadow' and her being unaware about what is going on, An important scene of the film is that it shows the shadow leering over Elizabeth, the drama and tension unfolds waiting to see what is about to happen. Target Audience   For my film my target audience is more towards the age of 18-34 the reason why is because it contains mature themes such as psychological issues like mental health problems and movies like that are generally aimed towards my that age group . My short film that I am going to make is a psychological thriller as this is a very popular genre throughout the industry, so my movie is often going to be targeted towards people who enjoy movies like that and the mystery and intense storylines that these movies have. To support my analysis, I had conducted and audience survey to find out more about more about who my audience are and what they expect to see in a short film.

12. Budget Breakdown  As this is a short film there isn't much budget although using a budget sheet which is included in my pre-production outlines all the costs this will help me keep everything organized and pre prepared for when I begin to film.

Market analysis  It has been shown that thriller movies have been made since the 1900s and some of them being nominated and awards winners.  The characteristics of a thriller movie are shown that it is mostly targeted towards young adults to adults and are female or male, they could also be in the group C which are mostly individuals who have jobs in the skilled non manual, the target age is because of the mature themes which are included in those films.

14. Team overview  The short film I am making is a solo project, so I will be doing all the necessary roles for the film to work out. That includes being the director, cinematographer and working on the editing.
