InthecombustionprocessHydrogencontentpresentinthefuelisconvertedintoH2O
whichnormallyleavesfromthestackaswatervapour,carryingwithalotofheat.This
heatlossisrestrictedbyusingSuperthermK2Rthisadditivedoesnotallowsto
associateHydrogenandOxygenwhichispresentinthecoal.
ThisisaSignificantlossapproximately10%oftheenergyinthefueldependingonflue
gastemperature.
Completecombustioncanhelpinsaving10-15%fuelcostsandlittlequantityofH2O
andAluminacanchangethequalityofcoalinstantlytoimprovetheBoiler/Kiln
performanceandupsettingconditionsinstantly.

REACTIONMECHANISM

Hydrogenenrichmentincoalinvitesfastchainreactionsandduetobettercombustionproperties,
helpstoincreaseinburningspeedofcoal.Thisspeedsupdrivingoffvolatilemattersfromcoaldue
tovolatilenatureofhydrogen.
Thismechanisminvitesexothermicreactionwhichfurtherbreaksthehydrogenbondswithother
elementsofcluster.Thisexposestomorehydrogentorunoffcombustionprocess.
Theoretically 1% H contributes about 53 Kcal/kg of heat + loss depending on stack temperature &
Air/ Fuel ratio is reduced and oxygen present in coal is utilized as part of excess oxygen.
C > CO > CO2+H20 > CH4> C2H4>C2H6>>>>>>>> 0.3 seconds >>>> 3T (Time, Temperature and
Turbulence). This is a complex chain reaction and highly exothermic and combustion is completed
into fraction of seconds. So, fuel get gets higher residence time for combustion.
Addition of Supertherm K2R can turn CO2and H2O vapours present in the flame is brought back to
the fuel instantly and save 10 -15 % fuel cost by creating Sabatier reaction depending on flue
temperature and Power load factor/Feed/output (90% PLF/ LOAD desirable for assessment of
Impact) by creating reaction within the flame with Alumina rich fuel firing. This reaction is also
known as Methanation Reaction in Coal.
