1.  18: سورة كهف All the material adornments on earth exist as a trial and test. The trials of remaining steadfast on Tawhid, wealth, honor, status, children and abundance in number. 2. The properties & Merits of Surah Kahf --- (Hifz First and Last ten Ayahs, Friday Recitation, Protection from Dajjal) ---- 70,000 angels bring the Surah at once. 3. Characteristic of Rasolallah as Daee --- Well wisher (Trying to save us from fire: Hadith) -- Do we have this sympathy for others? Embellishments of this world = Test Story of the people of Cave --- Good company is the solution when faith/ deen is in danger/trial.

Supplication --- Ayah 10 --- Asking for Mercy and guidance , rectitude in affairs Search for good company(collectivity), sanctuary in cave (striving), Supplication (Trust on Allah) Who are our company ? Our kids company?  رَبَّنَاۤ اٰتِنَا مِنۡ لَّدُنۡكَ رَحۡمَةً وَّهَيِّئۡ لَـنَا مِنۡ اَمۡرِنَا رَشَدًا‏

5. When the people of Cave selected the way of faith, Allah(SWT) made their hearts firm , their faith increases and strengthen. Gave preference to leaving life of luxury, family, house & community rather than saying words of Kufr ---- Allah give them guidance ---- Rukhsah or Azimah Ask Allah for His mercy & Allah’s mercy covers them. Allah’s almightiness ----- Putting them to sleep for centuries. Whoever resolute on guidance, Allah made the way easy for them. Ruku No 2:

6. Long, continuous sleep, changing sides on right and left, eyes open during sleep, no direct sunlight on the cave, dog sitting at entrance, an awe for over looker - All super natural arrangements from Allah(SWT) The quarrels about life after death at that time when they wake up from sleep. Center of Quran ---- وَلۡيَتَلَطَّفۡ ----- Must be polite and cautious --- Islam is Deen e Fitrat and Ummat is Ummat e Wast. Ruku No 3:

7. Building mosques and shrines over grave --- Polytheist tradition --- Forbiddance in Hadith Avoid long drawn unnecessary argumentations(waste of time and energy, danger of mutual bickering) --- Satan’s way --- Number of people or how much they slept --- We are also fond of religious argumentations and become critiques.

8. Saying Inshallah on doing something in future or when promising --- Don’t use it as shield. No compromise b/w Truth and Falsehood on give and take basis -- No change in Allah’s words Ruku No 4:

Three instructions for safety and protection at time of Fitna: Attachment with good company – who are busy in His remembrance, seeking His pleasure – but avoid company of those who are negligent of Allah’s remembrance and follow their lusts and desires and break all limits --- Treatment / medicine with precautions Dawa --- Proclaim the truth --- convey the message Be connected with Quran at all times. Hope and fear --- Admonition and motivation --- Hell & Paradise. Hope Fear

11. Story of two gardens --- Comparison between poor believer & rich unbeliever. Trials of wealth and children ---- Reality of life and lasting for brief time Prosperity in this life is not surety of Allah’s pleasure. Similarly adversity is not wrath. Be patient at hardships and thankful at abundance. Saying Mashallah for Allah’s blessings for being Thankful - Every skill and blessing is Allah’s blessedness . Ruku No 5:

12. Punishment of arrogance and pride --- gardens were destroyed & resentfulness on attitude Don’t be mean to others or treat them as they are of lesser status – Use skills, wealth, time, children and time in proper use. How the poor beliver was sincere to his friend and doing dawa

Transient pleasures of this world -- Example of vegetation(spring & fall) --- Human life( childhood, adolescence, old age and death) Fitna of Wealth and children --- Solution is Remembrance of Hereafter and knowing the reality of life, remembrance of Allah Ever lasting virtues -- وَالۡبٰقِيٰتُ الصّٰلِحٰتُ - Embellishment of Hereafter - How we can collect them? 14. Glorifying Allah SWT --- DAWA according to the Sunnah Story of Companions of Cave ---- Pray for guidance & steadfastness. The story of the companions of cave ---- leave whatever is the outside of your sphere of knowledge to Allah. The struggle to seek Allah’s pleasure or Heedlessness ---- Avoid bad companionship and maintaining good. Story of the two gardens - every blessing is from Allah and temporary , attitude of gratitude. 15. Trial of religion, wealth & children is discussed, then in the middle the story of Iblis, one who pulls the strings of fitna, our enemy. Crime of Iblis -- Disobedience of Allah(SWT), arrogance & rejecting Allah’s commands Admonition to human’s to only obey Allah and keep away from deviation and be aware of seductions of Satan and his followers. Enmity between polytheist and their idols at the day of judgment. Ruku No 7:

16. Contentious /quarrelsome nature of humans --- Using Allah’s will or destiny as an excuse Accepting guidance = believing = repentance Attitude of unbelievers toward messenger and message ---- ridiculous arguments, quarrels, effort to put Truth down, stubbornness and non seriousness Ruku No 8:

17. Story of Musa(AS) and Khidhr. Unlimited knowledge of Allah -- Human knowledge is limited Why Musa felt tired? - going beyond your destination - Check ourselves Why we are always tired? Three incidents and their Hikma(wisdom) --- boat, the boy and the wall Ruku No 9:

18. Etiquettes of acquiring knowledge and respect to teachers. Seeming/apparent aspect of events are mostly different than reality. 19. Our knowledge is limited, we cannot understand wisdom behind all what Allah wills. 21. What kind of resources we have and how we can spent them? Gog and Maggog --- Building wall/dam and then thanking Allah(SWT) for the accomplishment. Able to put to work the strength of a people who could hardly understand a word. Remembrance of Hereafter ---- using the opportunity to do dawa Escape of Gog and Maggog at end of times.(Hadith)

22. Efforts of unbelievers will not be weighed at day of judgment. Show off --- Shirk Memorize last three Ayahs. The marvelous works, the excellences and the wonders of Allah’s Power and Wisdom . Ruku No 12:

23. Consequence of disobedience --- Always consciously try not to fall outside the realm of obedience Laxity to sinners --- listen, remember, & practice the Quranic advice. Story of Musa & Khizr --- Patience for seeking Knowledge Story of Musa & Khizr --- Wait for the appropriate time to finish everything. Story of Musa & Khizr --- Reflect on the wisdom of events, the happiness and misery both are Allah’s mercy. 24. Let's evaluate our selves Am I sure? Yes No mostly to some extent My heart is satisfied with the friendship of those who call Allah in the morning and night. I don’t follow any negligent person. I follow those who follow their desires. I don’t obey those who break all limits. I consider wealth and children as trial/Fitna. I consider the pursuit of knowledge necessary to increase my faith. I look forward to the appropriate time to ask academic questions. I forgive the wrongdoings which are unconscious and forgetfully. I try to practice religion according to my own desires. I evaluate my behavior with my intellect and with my friends I have a strict attitude toward blasphemers

Surah Taubah - 9 Guidance on practical JIHAAD with Mushrikeen , the people of Book and Hypocrites. Surah Younus - 10 Prerequisites for JIHAAD: Provide and debate MANIFEST PROOF and invite to the truth.  Surah Al Anaam - 6 Examine shirk in Shariah. 26. Surah Younus - 10 Prerequisites for JIHAAD: Provide and debate MANIFEST PROOF and invite to the truth.  Surah Hud - 11 The topic of WARNING nations by reflecting on the history of nations is emphasized. Invitation to repent & be steadfast. Surah Yusuf - 12 GLAD TIDINGS after hardship is emphasized. Yusuf invited to tawhid which is the TRUTH while shirk is FALSEHOOD. Surah Rad - 13 The difference between tawhid and shirk (TRUTH & FALSEHOOD) has been made clear through natural and rational proofs. Surah Ibrahim – 14 Tawhid has strong roots in human fitrah, beneficial to humanity & it gives steadfastness to believers Here & Hereafter. Surah Hijr - 15 Criminal elites of the society rejected and ridiculed the Tawhid, followed Iblis and  were destroyed. Surah Nahl – 16  Comparison of arrogant leaders of disbelievers and Muslim leadership.
