Introduction Probably revealed during the last stage of Prophet hood in Makah. “Yaseen is the heart of the Quran” (Ahmad, Abu Dawood, Nasai). “Reciting of Yaseen near a dying person makes the ordeal easy for him” (Mazhari).

Ruku 1 Quran is full of Wisdom. It is a clear proof that Prophet (SAWS) is a Messenger of Allah. Quran is revealed to show صِرَاطٍ مُّسۡتَقِيۡمٍؕ - the straight path and also to warn people. The psychological condition of the disbelievers; They have long, tight collars around their necks, so their heads are forced up. They have a barrier in front and behind them. They have a veil in front of their eyes so they cannot see.

Emphasis on Resurrection – everything is recorded in a clear book; Deeds and actions of a person Impressions made on one-self and surroundings. Influences left for the future.

Ruku 2 Lessons from a story of Allah’s true servant. Messengers have always been ridiculed; You are human like us. Allah has revealed nothing. You are a liar, madman, or sorcerer. Messengers were equaled to misfortune, threatening them and resorting to violent tactics. Support is found with honest and sincere people – a united stand for the truth.

Allah’s true servant becomes a true da’ee – presenting arguments to his people. Confirms the validity of the Messengers, as their words & deeds are proof that they call to the straight path. The Messenger's ask for no gain or reward in exchange. Human nature and logic demand the worship of the Only Creator. Everyone is to ultimately die & return to their Creator. Nothing can avail anyone, except the Most-Merciful. No ill feelings, hatred, vengeance in his heart against the people, even though they killed him.

Ruku 3 There are ample signs, just turn around and look. Vegetation, trees and plants. Everything created in pairs. The sun and the moon and the whole universe. The ships and the seas.

It is Allah’s will that people have different means, talents and abilities. This ensures sustenance of a complex human society on this earth. Spending in the way of Allah develops kindness and compassion, softens hearts, disassociate one from worldly desire, reminds one of Hereafter. The disbelievers attitude creates chaos in society, greed and selfishness.

Ruku 4 A scene from Day of Resurrection; A quick, single blast will over take everyone. Everything will perish in the condition it is. The trumpet will be blown to raise back to life again. Justice will be done to every soul, based on their deeds Believers dwell in paradise. Disbelievers will have their bodies submit to Allah, & they will not be able to speak themselves.

Ruku 5 Old age is a second childhood, but without a child’s sweet innocence. Quran is no place for poetry – full of wisdom, and warning for everyone. Poetry expresses a human longing. Poetry is an expression of reactions and desires. Poetry changes to suit mood and desires. Quran is advice, cure, guidance and mercy for mankind (Surah Yunus).

Recount the blessings of Allah and show gratitude – example of cattle. Associating with Allah; Statues, stones, trees, stars, angels or jinn, and also one own abilities superior to Allah. When Allah can create a man from nothingness, He can bring back to life from rotten and crushed bones. Example of fire from a “green” tree. Proof from science – DNA code.

Action Items Ruku 1-5 Prophethood of Rasolallah SAW --- Follow the advice Stance of Faith and Disbelief --- Inviting to the Allah’s Way Sincerity for the nation --- Become a DAWA worker Clear Signs --- Ponder on the signs to increase connection with Allah SWT. Let's evaluate our selves Am I sure? Yes No mostly to some extent I consider the DAWA to be an obligatory responsibility. I try to offer myself to volunteer for DAWA related activities. I have read the Surah Yaseen’s Translation and tafseer several times. I try to do perpetual charity and avoid perpetual sins. I blame Allah’s will for any of the shortcomings in my actions.
