•Reside within the aryepiglottic
fold
•Anterior to the corniculate
cartilages

Epiglottis
•Thin,leaflikecartilage
•Projectsupwardsbehindthe
tongueandbodyofhyoidbone
•Attachesinferiorlytothyroid
cartilage,bythyroepiglottic
ligament

Ventricular folds
