Born in August 25th, 1971 in Rennes, Sven dashes into the illustration after studies in the School of Visual Arts of Rennes 2.

Sven is known for his gay-dreamlike universe. The Sven's small guys are very contemporary, very anchored in our day. Representative of the new generation they are transposed into the old story or a fantastic universe. His characters are characterized by their cheerfulness and their cheek, without vulgarity but, freed.
His inspiration is favored by the crossed boys, the knowledge, the friends. It is funny to find the face of such or such in its drawings.

After a studious lack, Sven returns, and will soon let in us to distant worlds, unreal atmospheres, bright cities...
Where his small guys live adventures literally as in the figurative.

I’ve worked as an illustrator under the nom de plume Sven de Rennes Since march 2002.

Ever since I was a little boy, I thought drawing was a magical power, the way, to,show others what I imagined
or what I had in mind. My goal was to manage to represent all this'ih the mos® realistic way possible.

After studying at the art college of Rennes II (Brittany, France), became interested in.science-fiction and
| fantasy universes; I was fascinated by the creation or distant worlds,"Unreal moods; bright cities...

It was in 2002 that T decided to “come out” and took aninterest in the gay world. I like playing with erotic

situations, sometimes.soft, sometimes not'so\subtley always -trying-to.ineorporate\a-bit of humour, tenderness

and feeling in the bonds between my-Characters.
