1. SYNOPSIS TOPIC:-CLINICAL STUDIES ON USE OF DIFFERENT SURGICAL PROTOCOLS FOR MANAGEMENT OF EYELID DISEASES IN DOGS

2. INTRODUCTION *Eyelid diseases are very common in ophthalmological diseases of dog. *Example entropion, ectropion, tumours, cherry eye etc. *Very few planned studies were performed in India on classification and management of eyelid diseases in dogs so present study assigned on eyelid

3. OBJECTIVE Evaluate the surgical techniques for management of different eyelid affections in dogs

4. Research Methodology and experiment design: The surgical techniques will be applied on basis of eyelid condition and evaluated in total 16-clinical cases of dogs presented with eyelid affections at Department of VSR.

5. CONFORMATIONAL ANOMALIES TRAUMATIC ANOMALIES EYELID NEOPLASIA EYELID CILIA ANOMALIES THIRD EYELID ANOMALIES ENTOPION ECTROPION EYELID AGENESIS ETC. LACERATION MELANOMA PAPILLMOMA ADENOCARCINOMA ETC. ECTOPIC CILIA DISTICHIASIS TRICHIASIS ETC. CHERRY EYE TUMOR ETC. *cases will be studied on basis of hospital occurrence of different cases . *suitable surgical technique will be applied on basis of surgical condition Surgical management of eyelid affections will be divided as per different surgical condition with suitable surgical method.

6. Eye examination test Schirmer Tear Test(whenever required in case) Fluorescent dye test(whenever required in case) Funduscopic Examination (whenever required in case) Ophthalmoscope Examination (whenever required in case) Tonometer Examination(whenever required in case)

7. Treatment &Surgical Approach 1 Entropion:- hotz celsus / Rhytidectomy /as per clinical presentation with suitable surgical technique 2.Ectropion:-V- Yplasty /as per clinical presentation with suitable surgical technique 3.Lacerations:-two layer eyelid closure technique/as per clinical presentation with suitable surgical technique 4.Eye lid Neoplasia :-By wedge ressection / as per clinical presentation with suitable surgical technique 5.Cilia affections:- by cryoablation ./as per clinical presentation with suitable surgical technique 6.Cherry eye:-Morgan pocket technique/anchor technique/as per case presentation with suitable surgical technique.

8. Social benefits Recurrence of eyelid affections are common in canine ocular patients .study of eyelid compare various surgical approaches for different eyelid condition and tell different eyelid affection incidence rate and prognosis with surgical success rate and complications .it will help to rule out better surgical method for different condition of eyelid
