?यादा $योग iकये जाने वाले Accounting Software मE से एक है. इसक' सबसे बड़ी खूबी है इसका user freindly होना. कोई भी

टैल# 5.0 - यह 4.5 का ह# अपेडेड version है. यह windows आधा?रत है. इसमE inventory को जोड़ा गया था. िजससे अब
inventory को मे?टेन करना, डायरे?ट एं# करना संभव हो सका.

टैल# 5 4 - यह 5.0 का उ?नत मोlयूल है. िजसमे Import of Data Facility द# गई. िजससे पुराने या कह#ं और रखे डाटा को भी नए
मE $व?त[त iकया जा सकता था साथ ह# उससे स?मा?हत भी कर सकते थे

टैल# 6.3: यह एक jव?ता?रत उnयम $णाल# है िजससे यह ODBC (ओपन डाटा बेस कनेि?टjवट#) के मा?यम से अ?य $णाल# के
साथ सूचना का आदान $दान कर सकता है. साथ ह# टैल# से jव?ीय ?रकॉड[ ई - मेल, अपलोड भी iकया जा सकता था.

7.2 टैल#: - यह एक एक'कृ त उnयम $णाल# सं?करण है, िजसमे TDS और TCS और Service Tax को जोड़ा गया है.
टैल# 8.1: यह बहु भाषा समथ[न सॉ?टवेयर है. यह भाषाएँ का समथ[न है करता

टैल#. 9.0 - यह 8.1 सं?करण पर एक बेहतर मॉडल है . यह 13 भाषाएँ (jवदेशी भाषा स?हत) का समथ[न करता है. Payroll इस

तब ?नद6शI का पालन करE. इसके बाद Tally.ERP 9 नाम का एक Folder सभी आव?यक फाइलI के साथ save हो जाता है. साथ ह# एक

Startup Screen - Licensed Tally ERP use करने पर यह screen नह#ं ?दखेगी. यह Educational Tally, Tally.Net user,
First time after installation etc के समय ह# ?दखेगी. इसके बाद gसफ[ the regular screen (Gateway of Tally-
GOT) ह# ?दखेगी.

Activate License- इस नए valid license लाइसEस को सiय करने के gलए $योग iकया जाता है. इसके gलए आपको valid tally
license Key (given in pack provided by tally) क' ज?रत होगी. िजसको installation के दौरान मांगने पर feed करना होता
है साथ ह# आपको एक valid E-mail Id क' भी ज?रत होगी. हालांiक आपको ?दए गए jवक?प के मा?यम से offline installation भी
कर सकते हG.

Re-activate license- पुराने लाइसEस को iफर से activate करने के gलए.
Configure existing license- मौजूदा लाइसEस configure करने के gलए या नया license क' installation दौरान कु छ problem
होने पर
Login as Remote Tally.Net User - Remote computer से login करने के gलए.
Work in educational Mode- इस Education के gलए ह# है और तार#ख और दूसरI restrictions के कारण commercial use gलए
काम नह#ं करेगा. इस मE आप के वल 1 तार#ख, iकसी भी मह#ने क' 2 और 31 का उपयोग कर सकते हG.

Quit- मौजूदा ?'न छोड़ वापस जाने के gलए.

(Tip: Letter in Red works as shortcut to direct reach at option related or use the same with ALT to go
in directly if single straw below and Ctrl if double straw below)

Install करने के बाद ?न?नgलhखत मE से iकसी option का use करके Tally Open क' जा सकती है:
Start (on Desktop) > Programs > Tally.ERP 9 > Tally.ERP 9 icon

Some Important tips for filling of Company Creation form:-
Maintain- दो jवक?प उभरेगा- first- Accounts only- ऐसे सं?थानI जहाँ इ?वEटर# का एकाउंjस रखना या तो संभव नह#ं है या
वो ऐसा करना नह#ं चाहते हG. इस Option का $योग करEगे. जैसे - restaurants, कपडा दुकान, सjव[स से?टस[ आ?द
Accounts with inventory- वो फम[ जो एकाउंjस मE $ोड?jस / माल का भी accounts रखते हG. इस
Option का $योग करEगे. जैसे - iकराना ?टोर, मेkडकल शॉप आ?द.
Financial Year from- उस financial year/ फाइनEgसयल इयर क' पहल# तार#ख िजस के gलए
accounts करना है (i.e. -01.04.11 for FY-2011-12)
Books beginning from- jव?ीय वष[ के बीच मE िजस तार#ख पर एकाउंjस को चालू करना है
अब Inter Press करE या Ctrl + A करE –– अब आपक' कं पनी create हो चुक' है.
Remember that Tally Vault and User passwords are non recoverable. So, be careful and note it
somewhere as it cannot be retrieved.

To Select a Company- Gateway of Tally > Alt+ F3: Company Info > Select Company (from list)
gल?ट मE से िजस कं पनी का चयन करना हो उसपर double click कर सकते हG या arrow से जाकर click करE

Alter Company: iकसी company के detail को change करने के gलए.

To Alter a Company- Gateway of Tally > Alt+ F3: Company Info > Alter
Select the company from list which you wanna alter
इससे company creation/ alteration form खुल जायेगा. इसमE आप इ?छानुसार details change/add कर सकते हG.
Alteration के बाद इसको save कर दE.
Shut Company: iकसी active company को close करने के gलए.

To Shut a Company- Gateway of Tally > Alt+ F3: Company Info > Shut Company
Or
Gateway of Tally > Alt+F1
Delete Company: iकसी Company को delete करने के gलए.

To Delete a Company- Gateway of Tally > Alt+ F3: Company Info > Alter > Alt +D

Company Features का $योग additional options के gलए iकया जाता है. इससे सामा?य tally मE नई बातE जोड़ी जा सकती
हG. इसे Tally मE लगभग सभी ?'न से F11 Press करके देखा जा सकता है

is selected in company creation form (company masters)


III. F3: Statutory & Taxation: मE Statutory & Taxation स?ब?धी configuration iकये जा सकते हG. ये contury specific
होते हG और company creation के समय selct iकये गए country के अनुसार उपल?ध होते हG. ?नि?लhखत statutory options
तभी आएँगी जब country मE India select iकया गया हो. Options here in :

IV. F4: Tally.Net Features: मE Connection Details, Remote Access, SMS Access etc सबंधी optionns रहते हG जो क'
Tally.Net के features use के gलए आव?यक हG.

Tally.ERP 9 मE F12: Configuration Accounting, Inventory, Payroll, E-mailing, Date, Printing, TDL,
Numeric symbol, Voucher entry कु छ options availabble करते हG. ये User- definabble होते हG िजनको आ??य?तासर $योग
iकया जा सकता है
वैसे तो इसको Gateway of Tally > F12 से access iकया जा सकता है iक?तु इसक' सबसे बड़ी खाgसयत ये है क' इससे Tally मE जब
और िजस जगह press iकया जाता है वो उससे स?ब?धी configuration options ह# ?दखता है. इसमE बहु त सारे options होते हG इसgलए
इसको हम आगे entries और अ?य काय_ के दौरान ह# jव?तार से जानEगे.

the company for which it is used. While features affect all companies.

Groups, Ledgers & Vouchers बनाने, देखने और प?रव?त[त करने के gलए

GROUPS
Group एक ह# accounting nature वाले ledger का समूह होता है. Tally मE काय_ क' सट#कता मुखतः उनके Ledgers के
ुjपंग पर ?नभ[र करती है. इसgलए यह जानना बहु त ज?र# हो जाता है क' कौन सा Ledgers का नेचर ?या है और उससे क' ुप मE
रखा जाये. वरना टैल# गलत जानकार# भी $दान कर सकता है..

इन Groups का classification ह# इस बात क' पुि?ट करता है क' ये revenue nature के कारण Profit and Loss Account को effect
करEगे या capital nature के कारण Balance Sheet .
Reserved Groups से $?येक पर चचा[: -
Non Revenue (Group Displayed and effect in Balance Sheet):-
Capital Account: - इसमE company के Capital and Reserves का ?रकॉड[ रखा जाता है Share Capital, Partners' Capital A/c,
and Proprietor’s Capital Account आ?द को Capital Accounts के अंतग[त रखा जाता है. Balance Sheet (B/S) के left side के
ऊपर मE रहता है
Reserves and Surplus [Retained Earnings]:- इसमE Capital Reserve, General Reserve, and Reserve for Depreciation
आ?द ledgers सि?मgलत होते हG. Last FY क' forwarded income को Reserves and Surplus के under रखते हG. Balance Sheet
(B/S) के Capital Account मE रहता है
Current Liabilities: - iकसी भी liability से related accounts को इसके under create कर सकते हG like Outstanding, payable,
Advance, Liabilities, Statutory Liabilities and other minor liabilities. Current Liabilities के Sub-groups - Duties and
Taxes, Provisions and Sundry Creditors. Balance Sheet मE बाC ओर मE ?वतं ?प से होता है.
 Duties and Taxes: -Duties and Taxes मE सभी तरह के tax accounts स?मा?हत होते हG. जैसे VAT, Excise, Sales and
other trade taxes and the total liability. लेiकन इस तरह के करI मE जो भुगतान iकया गया है और उनके hखलाफ कोई भी
े kडट $ा?त नह#ं हो पायेगा indirect expenses or purchase account (as per accounting policy) के अंतग[त वग8कृ त
iकया जाएगा..

 Provisions: -Accounts like Provision for Taxation, Provision for Depreciation आ?द Provisions के अंतग[त रखे
जाते.

 Sundry Creditors: - ?यापा?रक लेनदारI के gलए. आम तौर पर आपू?त[कता[ओं / suppliers को इसके तहत समूह#कृ त करते हG.
Loans (Liability): -Loans जो company ने उधार gलया है, आम तौर पर typically long-terms loans Balance Sheet मE बाC ओर
मE ?वतं ?प से होता है. Sub-groups - Bank OD a/c, Bank OCC A/c, secured loans & unsecured loans.
 Bank OD Accounts [Bank OCC Accounts]: -Tally मE आप अलग अलग तरह के Bank Accounts को उनक' $कृ ?त के
आधार पर बाँट सकते हG जैसे -Bank Overdraft accounts and Bank over Cash Credit Accounts. आम तौर पर दोनI loan
accounts हG.

 Secured Loans: - अवlध ऋण (Term loans) या अ?य लंबे / म?यम अवlध के ऋण, जो कु छ प?रसंपj? क' security के against
$ा?त iकये जाते हG या सह# तर#के से iकसी भी $कार के security होने क' बात क' पुि?ट नह#ं करता. जैसे -Debentures, Term
Loans, and so on. Ex- gold loans, loans against property etc.

 Unsecured Loans: -Loans जो प?रसंपj? क' security के against $ा?त iकये जाते हG. Example: Loans from
Directors/partners or outside parties.

Branch/Divisions: - इसमE company के iकसी भी branches, divisions, affiliates, sister concerns, subsidiaries and so on
का ledger accounts maintain iकया जा सकता है Tally मE यहां खोले जाने वाले खातI के साथ Sales and Purchase transactions कर
सकते हG. याद रखE, ये आपके पु?तकI मE उनके accounts हG न क' उनके books of accounts हG. बस उ?हE iकसी अ?य पाट9 के खाते के ?प मE
?यवहार करE. य?द आप आपके कं ?यूटर पर branch/division क' पु?तकI को बनाए रखना चाहते हG, तो आप एक अलग कं पनी खोलने चा?हए.
Tally कई कं पनी के खातI के रखरखाव क' अनुम?त देता है.
Suspense Account: -Modern accounting मE बड़े corporation $ा?त और ऐसे देय राशी िजसके nature का पता नह#ं होता है के track
के gलए Suspense Ledger का use करते हG. सबसे आम उदाहरण हG Traveling Advance िजनक' detail Travelling Allowance bill
$?तुत करने पर ह# जा सके गी या bank मE कोई ऐसी $ाि?त िजसके source क' जानकार# parties or bank के account verification के बाद
ह# लग सके गी .कु छ companies ऐसे accounts को suspense account के अंतग[त खोलती हG.
Fixed Assets: - संपj? जैसे car, building, furniture इसके under group iकये जाते हG
Current Assets:-Current Assets मE वो assets होते हG जो fixed assets नह#ं. जैसे -Closing stock, Deposit (Assets), Loans
& Advances (Assets), Sundry Debtors, Cash -in –hand, Stock in hand, Bank a/c आ?द. B/s मE -left side
independently. Words having suffix with Prepaid suffix as Receivbale generally have nature of Current assets.
 Closing Stock: यह iकसी end of the period या as on date stock क' balance amount बताता है हालांiक यह iकसी भी
sub-group मE नह#ं आता है, लेiकन Current assets के तहत देखा जा सकता है.
 Deposits (Asset): -Deposits मE Fixed Deposits, Security Deposits या company nवारा iकसी government
department या party, supplier को ?दया गया कोई जमा ( कं पनी nवारा $ा?त नह#ं, जो एक दा?य?व है)
 Loans & Advances (Asset): - इसमE company nवारा non-trading nature (example: advance against salaries) के
?दए गए सभी loans/oradvances को शाgमल iकया जाता है. Supplier का advances account इस group मE नह#ं खोलना चा?हए.
 Sundry Debtors: -आम तौर पर सभी ाहकI को इस के अंतग[त वग8कृ त iकया जाता है. Ex: - Ram A/c, Shyam A/c etc.
 Cash-in hand: - Tally इस group मE Cash A/c automatically create करता है. य?द आव?यक हो, आप एक से अlधक
Cash A/c खोल सकते हG Like- Petty cash etc. Effect- under Current Assets.
 Stock-in-hand: - इसमE stock accounts -Raw Materials, Work-in-Progress and Finished Goods.आ?द को रखा
जाता है Balance control depend करता है क' आपने Integrated Account-cum-Inventory अपनाया हु आ या नह#ं. इन
jवक?पI पर jवचार करE:

 Integrated Accounts-cum-Inventory
इस option का Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Account पर मह?वपूण[ $भाव पड़ता है. अगर Yes set iकया जाता है तो
stock/inventory क' value पर inventory records means actual आधा?रत रहेगी
आप closing balance को directly change नह#ं कर सकE गे. आप Inventory records मE transactions नह#ं कर सकE गे
और Balance Sheet मE Closing Stock value actual inventory books figures के आधार पर रहेगा

 Non-integrated Accounts-cum-Inventory
अगर Integrated Account-cum-Inventory option को No set iकया जाता है तो closing stock inventory books
figures को छोड़कर manually entered balances pick. इसमE accounts एवं inventory को separately maintain
करने क' सुjवधा $ा?त होती है.

 Bank Accounts: - कोई भी bank account चाहे वो current account, savings account, short term deposit
accounts हो इसी group मE रखा जाता है.. Ex- HDFC Bank, UCO bank etc

Investments: - Investment accounts जैसे Investment in Shares, Bonds, Govt. securities, long term Bank deposit
accounts आ?द. यह आपको कं पनी nवारा iकए गए कु ल ?नवेश को देखने क' अनुम?त देता है.
Miscellaneous Expenses (Asset): - इस group का use Indian Companies Act 1956 के Schedule VI के तहत legal
disclosure requirements के gलए iकया जाता है इसमE incorporation (कं पनी पंजीयन पर iकये गए खच[) और pre-operative
expenses (कं पनी पंजीयन से पहले कं पनी के gलए गए खच[) को रखा जाता है. कं प?नयI को हर साल इस खाते से एक ?नि?चत भाग write off
करना होता है शेष इस खाते मE बैलEस के ?प मE रहता है जब तक क' पुण[तः written off न हो जाये.
Revenue (Group displayed and effect Profit and Loss account)
Sales Account: - आप अपनी sales accounts को ?ब'abs या कर के आधार पर $कार वग8कृ त कर सकते. इससे tax returns मE बहु त ह#
आसानी होती है.

Direct Income [Income Direct]: - ये Non-trade income account है जो Gross Profit को $भाjवत करता है. उदाहरण के gलए:
Discount received on purchase etc. सभी $कार क' trade income को Sales Accounts के under रखा जाता है.

Indirect Income [Income Indirect]: - ये jवjवध non-sale income हG. जो उ?पादन या खर#द के बाद $ाप ् होती हG (company क'
$कृ ?त के अनुसार) उदाहरण: Rent Received ,Interest Received आ?द

Direct Expenses [Expenses Direct]: - ये manufacturing एवं direct trading expenses है ये account company के Gross
Profit का ?नधा[रण करते हG Example- Wages and salary, Godown rent, freight (Inward) आ?द.
Indirect Expenses [Expenses Indirect]: - सभी administrative, selling or non-direct expenses. जैसे – bank charges,

Sales and Purchase account revenue accounts के तहत आते हG िजनका $भाव Profit & Loss Account पर पड़ता है. अगर आप
अपनी party accounts को इसके under खोलEगे तो sales or purchase voucher entry पास करने मE क?ठनाई आएगी
Opening two accounts of the same party
सुjवधा के ?हसाब से tally मE debtors, creditors and branch/divisions को अलग अलग iकया जाता है यह आपको एक jवशेष समूह के
खातI के display and analysis मE मदद करता है. इस $कार ,आप Sundry Debtors के under डाल# गई के party gलए sales and
purchase दोनI entries कर सकते हG. Party के frequent business nature के आधार पर उसका classification करE.
For example, parties से िजसे आप अ?सर खर#दते हG jवjवध लेनदार /Sundry Creditors के under रखा जा सकता है, ?यूंiक सामा?य
business transaction के ?हसाब से party लेनदार ह# है. iक?तु ऐसी party से डे?बट बैलEस होने पर भी tally कोई restriction नह#ं करेगा (जो
सामा?यतः े kडट ह# होना चा?हए). इसी तरह accounting transaction के कारण Sundry Debtor का balance credit हो सकता है.
इसgलए, आपको एक ह# party के gलए दो खातI को खोलने क' ज?रत नह#ं है - एक Sundry Debtors और एक Sundry Creditors के
under. Tally मE आप एक ह# नाम के दो ledger accounts नह#ं खोल सकते.
Duties and Taxes group मE gसफ[ वैसे ह# Tax को रखEगे जो या तो payable हो या credit हो. इसके अलावा सभी tax या statutory
expenses or rates and taxes indirect expenses मE रखे जाते हG gसफ[ reserved groups का use कई संगठनI के gलए पया[?त हो
सकता है. अlधक jवjवधता के gलए, Tally आप अपने groups, either as sub-groups or primary groups भी create कर सकते हG.
Groups sub-classified ?प से एक unlimited level पर वग8कृ त हो सकता है, आप एक आभासी accounting tree क' क?पना कर सकते

In Tally.ERP 9 groups can be created through two options:
 Single Group- To Create groups particularly

 Multiple Groups- To Create more than one group at single
screen.

SINGLE GROUP: Create, Display and Alter
Gateway of Tally > Accounts Info > Groups > Create (Single Group).








 Name: Group का नाम.
 Alias: कभी कभी हम gसफ[ हमार# ?मृ?त के gलए Accounts / groups / Stock Items के एक दूसरा नाम रखते है. यहां
दाhखल iकए गए नाम खातI मE Accounts / groups / Stock Items का चयन करने के gलए इ?तेमाल iकया जा सकता है.
लेiकन आम तौर पर यह ?रपोट[ या ?'न पर $कट नह#ं होता है.
 Group behaves like a Sub- ledger: ये option सेले?ट करने से उपरो?त ुप अपने Ledgers के gलए कं ोलर का काम
करेगा. ऐसे मE यह iकसी jवशेष खाते क' जगह पुरे ुप का शेष $दgश[त करेगा. यह कु छ ु?स जैसे - Sundry debtors, Sundry

MULTIPLE GROUP: Create, Display and Alter
Multiple Groups से आप एक साथ एक से ?यादा groups बना सकते हG. इसका सबसे बड़ा फायदा यह है क' हर group को
बनाने के gलए अलग अलग फॉम[ नह#ं खोलने पड़ते. बि?क एक ह# बार मE सभी groups create करके accept कर दE. लेiकन
इसमE कमी यह है क' आप इसमE additional options का $योग नह#ं कर सकते. साथ ह# इस jवlध से Primary Groups नह#ं

यहाँ हम लोग Tally.ERP 9 मE नए Ledgers बनाना, देखना और Alter करने के बारे मE जानEगे . Groups क' तरह Ledgers
को भी दो तर#कI से बनाया जा सकता है:
1. Single Ledger : Creating/Display/Alter single ledger on a screen.
2. Multiple Ledger: Creating/Display/Alter more than one ledger on a screen.
जैसे क' मE हमने बताया था क' Multiple creation से आप additional options (F12) का $योग नह#ं कर सकते. Multiple

 Skip rest and Fill address at Address field and than other details as demanded.

Creating a Voucher (Secondary):
इससे pre-created voucher types के अ?दर नए sub-groups बनाये जा सकते हG.
GOT > Accounts Info/ Inventory Info > Voucher Types > Create
Example: Create a Voucher- CG Sales under Sales

Guide to fill the form:
 Name: - अगर नया voucher बनाना है तो नाम डाले
 Type of Voucher: - 8 default vouchers मE से कोई voucher िजसके under इसे create करना है.
 Method of Voucher Numbering: - Tally मE के voucher numbering तीन तर#के होते हG.
 Automatic: Automatic Numbering के gलए, इसमE कु छ advance settings भी होती है. जो हम ?नचे पढEगे
 Manual : Number manually डालने के gलए
 None: कोई number use नह#ं करने के gलए, not recommended at all.
 Use EFFECTIVE Dates for Vouchers: - Actual entry date के अलावा कोई अ?य date चा?हए तो इस option
का $योग iकया जा सकता है. ऐसे मE during entry date change करते समय आपसे दो date मांगी जाएगी.
 Make “Optional” as default: - इससे जब voucher को खोल जायेगा वो default ?प से optional ह# होगा than
button bar से उसे non-optional अथा[त regular करना होगा
 Print after Saving Voucher: - इस option को use करने से जब कभी voucher को save iकया जायेगा उसका
system ?वतः print command दे देगा
 Declaration: यहाँ जो भी gलखा जायेगा वो इस particular voucher क' printing मE सबसे ?नचे declarationके अंतग[त
आता है.
 Name of Class: - We will study it later.

जैसा क' नाम से ?प?ट है इसका $योग करने से voucher numbering
?वतः होती है. सामा?यतः voucher numbering simple numbers मE
होती है जैसे क' – 1, 2, 3, 4, आ?द. िजसे इसके ?नचे आने वाले
advance configuration option से बदला जा सकता है.
Use Advance Configuration: इसे select करने पर below form खुलेगा

Prefill with Zero: - Numerical part के नंबर के आगे जीरो लगाना है या नह#ं अगर width 4 सेट क' हु ई है 3 zero आयEगे अ?यथा उतनी जगह
खल# रहेगी. Ex- 0003
Width of Numerical Part: - Automatic numbering enables करने पर ह# इसका use होता है. इससे numerical part क' चौड़ाई fix क' जा सकती है.
Ex- 0003 (total numbers are 4)
Prefix Details: Voucher मE numerical part के पहले आने वाला detail.
Suffix Details: Voucher मE numerical part के बाद मE आने वाला detail

कु छ सं?थानI जैसे – Medical Shop, Daily Need Shop, Elecctronic Shop आ?द मE ?बल Stock item के नाम, सं?या
आ?द के ?हसाब से बनाया जाता है. ऐसे मE जो accounting होती है उसमे हमE Tally.ERP 9 मE Inventory का use करना होता
है. Tally.ERP 9 मE Inventory Info के अंतग[त मुखतः ?न?न Options आते हG
 Stock Groups
 Stock Categories (Use F11 > F2 to enable)
 Stock items
 Unit of measures (UOM),
 Godown (Use F11 > F2 to enable) etc
को देखने, बनाने एवं Alter करने के gलए. Tally.ERP 9 मE Inventory स?बंlधत
options तभी देखEगे जब Company Creation के समय मE Accounts with
Inventory सेले?ट iकया गया हो. Tally.ERP 9 के अंतग[त Inventory Info
Screen कु छ इस तरह ?दखता है:
Stock Groups:
Stock groups का $योग एक ह# Nature के Stock Items को एक जगह grouping करने के gलए होता है. यह jवgभ?न
?रपोट_ क' ?नकासी के gलए और Inventory & Cost Control के gलए
बहु त उपयोगी है. Tally.ERP 9 मE कोई default Group बना नह#ं होता है.
आप अपने सुjवधा के ?हसाब से Groups बना और बदल सकते हG. साथ ह#
अगर आप iकसी Stock Item को iकसी भी मE नह#ं रखना चाहते हG तो
उसे Primary के under डाल सकते हG.
As Per Group and Ledger Stock Groups are also of Two
Types:-
1. Single Stock Group : To Create one group at Single Screen
2. Multiple Stock Group: To Create more than one Group at Single Screen.
Creating a Stock Group: GOT > Inventory Info > Stock Group > Create
Example : Create a Stock Group – Bio Pesticides Under Primary
Name : Fill the name of desired group
Under : Name of another group, which will be parent group for the new group. You can also choose
“Primary” to keep the group independent.
Can Quantity of Items be ADDED: Enabling the option the total quantity of stock items under the group
will be summarized.

Stock Category
Stock Category का goods $योग को उनके Specific nature या type या brand के आधार पर customized inventory
reports generate करने के gलए iकया जाता है. Stock Categorization आपको functionality, behavior, brand पर
based एक third dimensional report तैयार करने मE मदद करता है.
Stock Category को Activate करने के gलए:
F11: Features > F2: Inventory Features > Maintain Stock Categories > Yes > Accept
Creating a Stock Category: GOT > Inventory Info > Stock Categories > Create

Display a Stock Category: GOT > Inventory Info > Stock Categories > Display

Altering a Stock Category: GOT > Inventory Info > Stock Categories > Alter

Delete a Stock Category: GOT > Inventory Info > Stock Categories > Alter > Enter > Alt+ D

Unit of Measurement
UOM इकाई है िजसके मा?यम से iकसी भी सामी क' lगनती क' जाती है. (I.e. piece, kilogram, liter, quintal, metric
ton, meter etc). iकसी भी ?टॉक आइटम के entry के gलए tally मE भी UOM क' ज?रत होती है. इस option मE इसी को
create/display/alter करते हG. Tally मE दो तरह के UOM होते हG:
1. Simple Unit: ये ऐसे UOM होते हG िजनका दुसरे UOM से कोई भी स?ब?ध नह#ं होता है. Ex- Kg, Mtrs, Ltrs etc.
2. Compound Unit: Compound unit दो Simple Units का combination होता है. Ex- 1ltr of 1000 ml, Hour
of 60 mins etc.

Creating a Simple Units: GOT > Inventory Info > Unit of Measure > Create
Example: Create a UOM- Kgs
Steps:
Type: Select – Simple
Symbol: Kgs (Name of UOM)
Formal Name: Full name of above UOM
Number of Decimal Places: 3

-* Decimal places means numbers after point in any measurement. For Example: Kilogram & Litre can
be measured in 3 decimal places- 1.001 kg/ ltr, while meter in 2 decimal places- 2.55 meter. Likewise
Pcs cannot be measured in decimal- 1.22 pcs (have you ever heard about ½ pieces)
Creating a Compound Units: GOT > Inventory Info > Unit of Measure > Create
Example: At a godown weight of per box is 200gm while the same is
sold in kgs. That means 1 kg = 5 box. Create a compound unit with this
combination.
Step: Type: Compound
First Unit: Kgs (it’s a simple unit and also first unit)
Conversion: 5 (Relation of First unit with second)
Second Unit: nos
कोई भी Simple unit, Compound unit, Stock group, Stock item, Ledger, Group, Godown etc तब तक
delete नह#ं iकये जा सकते जब तक क' उनक' lower level एवं related entries delete न कर द# जाये.
Godowns
कु छ organizations मE मैटे?रय?स एक से ?यादा जगह पर रखे, बेचे, ख़र#दे जाते हG. सामा?यतः इन जगहI को
godown/warehouse/ stock point कहते हG. ऐसे मE ज?र# होता है क' sale, Purchase, Transfer etc stock movement
entry करते समय हम Actual ि?थ?त को देखE और ?टॉक का लेनदेन इन godown के आधार पर ?दखाएं multiple godown
option का use करके हम इन movement के समय सह# godown gसले?शन कर सकते हG.

Activating Godown features in Tally.ERP 9:
F11: Features > F2: Inventory Features > Maintain Multiple Godowns > Yes

There are two options for creating Godowns in Tally.ERP 9
1. Single Godowns
2. Multiple Godowns
(Ensure that in F12:Configure, Allow ADVANCED entries in Masters (Inventory) is set to Yes)
Creating a Single Godowns: GOT > Inventory Info > Godowns > Create
Example : Create a Godown- Bhanpuri warehouse
Under- Primary

By using F12: Configure you can enable address filling option
for Godowns. Enable it and fill.

In Godowns Main Location godown is default. You can use it
further or change it name as per your requirements.

Stock Items
Stock item वो अं?तम उ?पाद है जो iकसी भी business मE बेचा जाता है या बेचने क' पेशकश क' जाती है. Tally मE इस jवक?प के
तहत हम इस तरह के Stock Items के नाम बना सकते हG. वां?छत jववरण के साथ फाम[ भरE. Default फॉम[ मE कु छ gस?पल से और
सामा?तः use iकये जाने वाले Options है. ?पेशल Options के gलए F 12 press करके आव?यकता अनुसार उपल?ध jवक?प को
चुन जा सकता है.

In Tally.ERP 9 you can create stock item in two following ways :
 Simple: इसमE Stock item create करने के साथ Stock group, Stock categories, Unit of measurement
& Tax information आ?द का $योग iकया जा सकता है
 Advanced: इसमE उपरो?त options के साथ साथ कु छ advanced options जैसे Costing, descriptionएवं अ?य
configuration स?ब?धी options का $योग iकया जा सकता है. इसका $योग करने के gलए F12: Configuration
से activate करना होता है.
Apart from above there are two options for creating Stock Items in Tally.ERP 9:

 Multiple Stock Item

Creating a Single Stock Item: GOT > Inventory Info > Stock Item > Create

Screen & enable options as per requirement:

Costing Method: यह Stock valuation का method है. यहाँ जो value आती है वो ह# books मE ?टॉक क' value होती है. यह gसफ[
Purchase cost को ह# consider करता है.
Market Valuation Method: यह ?टॉक valuation के gलए Sale price को consider करता है. हालाँiक Standard reporting के gलए सह#
नह#ं होता है
Ignore Diff. due to Physical Counting? यहाँ आपको यह बताना होता है ?या Tally Stock difference को accounts करने के gलए
?वयं appropriate entry pass कर सकता है?
Ignore Negative Balances? Enable करने से Tally आपको ?टॉक का balance negative होने पर automatically warnकरेगा अ?यथा
नह#ं.
Treat all Sales as New Manufacture? ?या Sales voucher के entry करते समय Stock item automatically manufactured हIगे एवं
stock मE आ जायEगे.
Treat all Purchases as Consumed? ?या Purchase voucher के entry करते समय Stock Item automatically
consumed हIगे एवं stock से issue हो जायEगे.
 Stock Item का Display एवं Alter ऊपर क' तरह ह# रहता है. जहाँ Display मE आप gसफ[ pre created ?टॉक
आइट?स देख सकते हG वह#U Alter से उसे देखने के साथ साथ प?रवत[न भी कर सकते हG.
 Stock item को delete करने का तर#का भी बांक' के तरह ह# रहता है. यानी Alter मE जाकर Alt+ D > Enter करEगे. iक?तु यह ज?र
?यान रखEगे क' कोई भी Stock item तब तक delete नह#ं iकया जा सकता जब तक क' स?बंlधत entries delete नह#ं कर द# गई हो.
साथ ह# entries करने के बाद कु छ jवशेष se?ngs को बदला नह#ं जा सकता है. जैसे – Unit of Measurement. इसे बदलने के gलए
भी आपको पहले entries को delete करना होगा.
