Introduction to the 9 Stage Enterprise Creation Model Getting to terms with opportunity recognition and its action points is the process of appreciating entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship is in creating value through innovations and mobilizing resources ( Lindholm , et al., 2019) It will mean taking requisite risks in a dynamic environment. It requires tenacity, flexibility, and the will to solve continuous problems. Plays a very important role in economic productivity and social impact. The 9 steps model will be applied to a case study of tattoo studio 9 Stage Enterprise Creation Model ( Bozward & Draycott, 2017)

Personal Learning Reflections Characteristic 1: Resilience Essential to battle business crises and setbacks Example: Crossing the bridge through financial turbulence and market adjustments Characteristic 2: Creativity Indispensable for the creation of unique products and services Example: Signature tattoo designs and collaborations with various influencers With some reflection, the two personal characteristics that were indispensable to the tattoo artist's entrepreneurial journey are resilience and creativity. Resilience denotes the artist's ability to sustain his way through the volatility of business ownership: fluctuating financial positions, changes in the markets, and competition. Adaptability , overcoming setbacks, and coming back stronger were the very elements that insured his survival and eventual growth. Creativity , too, was very important in distinguishing his business from others. The tattoos designed uniquely by the artist, along with services catered to client needs, allowed him to build a good brand identity.

Personal Learning Reflections ( Continues…) A skill that the artist has is communication. I have built enduring relationships with his clients, vital for client retention and word-of-mouth marketing. However , financial management is a skill he still has to work on. As the business scales, I should look into improving budgeting, forecasting, and financial management skills to scale operations and ensure sustainability. Conclusion The journey of the tattoo artist, as explored through Bozward and Draycott’s 9-step enterprise model, demonstrates how entrepreneurship extends beyond simply launching a business—it is about creating meaningful value through innovation, resilience, and adaptability. From identifying a market gap rooted in personalization to building a brand that thrives on creativity and customer connection, each stage of development was marked by strategic decision-making and personal growth. The tattoo studio's evolution into a self-sustaining, recognizable brand reflects how entrepreneurial success lies not only in financial gain but also in impact, identity, and legacy. Ultimately, the artist’s story highlights that entrepreneurship is a dynamic, ongoing process where continuous learning, reinvention, and passion pave the way toward long-term success and eventual transition.
