“THERMAL INSULATION PERFORMANCE AND COST-EFFICIENCY OF COCONUT HUSK AS AN ALTERNATIVE BUILDING INSULATION MATERIAL” PROPOSED TITLE NO.1
“OPTIMIZATION OF PROPOSED WASTE MANAGEMENT SITE” PROPOSED TITLE NO.2
As our global population continues to expand, the amount of waste we produce also increases. Many countries and regions have strict regulations for waste management to protect the environment and public health.
In Santo Tomas, Pangasinan, there isn't currently a particular waste management site which leads to incorrect disposal of waste and an increase in garbage disposal. Waste is often dumped on fields, irrigation systems, and even on other people's properties. Waste management has a significant environmental effect and without it, the world may encounter catastrophic difficulties. The primary purpose of appropriate waste management is to protect the environment and the public’s health and safety.
In order to solve this problem, we want to create a thorough trash management system. We would like to suggest a waste management site where individuals may dispose of all their trash properly and correctly. Effective waste management may lower pollution levels, lessen health hazards, and make our living environment better and cleaner for future generations. .
“TAMARIND KERNEL POWDER AS AN ALTERNATIVE CONCRETE MIXTURE” PROPOSED TITLE NO.3
Due to the negative effects on the environment and the depletion of natural resources caused by the use of traditional fine aggregates like sand in concrete, Tamarind Kernel Powder is being explored as a sustainable alternative to traditional concrete aggregates, highlighting the potential of agricultural byproducts as a cost-effective and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional building materials.
Using tamarind kernel powder as a partial substitute for cement is one possible method. Tamarind kernel powder was added to fresh concrete and relevant tests were conducted on fresh and hardened concrete before and after the addition of tamarind kernel powder.
The concrete shows good enhancement in strength until the addition of 1% of tamarind kernel powder to the weight of cement. Moreover, the workability, mobility and compaction factor results obtained in this experiment show that the optimal addition of tamarind kernel powder does not affect the properties of fresh concrete.
The purpose of the study is to assess how it affects the performance, durability, and mechanical qualities of concrete. Additionally, it aims to lessen waste and support environmentally friendly building methods. The goal of the project is to shed light on the possible advantages of using agricultural byproducts into construction materials.
