ALL TENSES IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE TENSE

TENSE : is the form of the verb which show when an action happened. OR TENSE : shows the time when an action happened. TENSE

In English language we have tow kind of tenses : 1. Active tenses :is a tense in which the doer of the action is the subject of tense . EX : He draw a picture. 2. Passive tenses :is a tense in which the receiver of the action is the subject of the sentence . EX : A picture was drawn . KINDS OF TENSES

The most difference between this tenses is emphasis. In the active tenses most emphasis is on the doer of an action . EX: Ahmad has finished the work . In the passive tenses the most emphasis is on the receiver of an action . EX : The work has been finished by A hmad . Difference between active and passive tenses

Active tenses have a specific formula for formation but passive tenses don’t have a specific formula for formation . EX: Ali speak E nglish in the class . S + V + C Active tenses start with the doer of an action and passive tenses start with the receiver of an action . EX: Samim is writing a letter . The letter is being written by Samim. Continue…
