5.Martin Luther King died in 1968. He was an activist that helped black people win
equal rights. He learned non-violent protests from Mahatma Gandhi. Luther
King studied to be a doctor in theology. He married Coretta Scott and they had
four children. Luther King inspired balck people to end segregation. He won the
Nobel Peace Prize in 1964. Today, people are still inspired by fighting without
using violence.
