What is Bible Reading Project? It is a project that aims to bring souls at the feet of Jesus and lead the youth, including the children and adults to love the Scriptures as their standard of living.

When it was founded? It was founded last September 1, 2020.

JANUARY   New Beginnings Weekly activity on Care Group meeting: NEW YEAR’S PRAYER SERVICE GOAL: Focuses on showing God works and character to others and foster spirit of hope, unity, and intercession, encouraging youth to trust God with their desires and concerns. Week 3: Commitment to Acts of Kindness Activity: Ask members of YCG to commit to one act of kindness or service in the coming year. They can write down their commitment on a piece of paper and offer it as a prayer or blessing for others. How it works: Afterward, members can be invited to pray silently for the strength and inspiration to follow through with their commitments.

JANUARY   New Beginnings Weekly activity on Care Group meeting: Week 4: Prayer for the World and Community Activity: Have a prayer or blessing for peace, healing, and positive change in the world and the local community. Members can also be invited to write down specific prayer requests for loved ones, the country, or global issues. How it works: Collect these requests, and incorporate them into a communal prayer led by the Prayer Network team/leader or Pastor/Church leader.

FEBRUARY   Faith and Promise Weekly activity on Care Group meeting: YOUTH CARE GROUP NIGHT DISCUSSION ON FAITH GOAL: To encourage conversations about faith, foster family bonds, and inspire youth to grow spiritually and confidence in living out their faith. Week 1: Faith Stories Sharing Circle Activity: Ask each CG member to share a personal story about a time when their faith was tested or when they experienced a moment of spiritual growth. How it works: This can be a structured sharing time where everyone has a few minutes to speak, or it can be more informal. Afterward, discuss how each story helped build or strengthen faith.

FEBRUARY   Faith and Promise Weekly activity on Care Group meeting: Week 2: Scripture Meditation & Discussion Activity: Choose a Bible verse or a faith-based quote to meditate on as a YCG. Read the passage aloud, then spend a few minutes in quiet reflection. Afterward, discuss what the verse means to each person and how it can be applied in everyday life. How it works: Pick a short passage that encourages reflection, such as Philippians 4:6-7 or Isaiah 40:31 and ask questions like: What does this verse teach us about trusting God? How can we apply this in our current lives?

FEBRUARY   Faith and Promise Weekly activity on Care Group meeting: Week 3: Faith Tree or Vision Board Activity: Create a “Faith Tree” or vision board as a family, where everyone adds items (words, images, or drawings) that represent their faith goals, hopes, or prayers for the year ahead. How it works: You can use a large sheet of paper and draw a tree trunk, and each person can add leaves with their goals or prayers written on them. Or, for a vision board, CG members can find magazine cutouts or draw things that reflect their faith journey for the upcoming year.

FEBRUARY   Faith and Promise Weekly activity on Care Group meeting: Week 4: Faith-based CG Challenge Activity: Create a “Faith Challenge” that the CG can work on together for the week. For example, challenge everyone to perform a random act of kindness or commit to a prayer time together each day. How it works: After discussing the challenge, each CG member can share how they plan to take part, and you can talk about the importance of living out your faith through actions.

MARCH   Deliverance Weekly activity on Care Group meeting: COMMUNITY SERVICE GOAL: To engage the youth in practical acts of service for others, inspired by Christ’s teachings, and reflect on the importance of serving others in His name. ACTIVITY: Serving Christ through Acts of Kindness Week 1: Clothing Drive and Fundraising Activity: Collecting clothes to donate to local shelters or families in need and selling of garage or making useful things/food to raise a fund this is in preparation for next week activity.

MARCH   Deliverance Weekly activity on Care Group meeting: Week 2: Feeding the Homeless and Visiting Elderly or Sick Activity: Divide your YCG to 2 teams, if you have 4 YCG divide in 2. The 1 st team comprise of 2 YCG will do the feeding the homeless they will prepare and distribute meals at a local shelter or those in need. The 2 nd team with remaining 2 YCG will do the visitation of elderly or sick they will organize the visits to nursing homes or hospitals to offer encouragement through songs, pray with residents, or share uplifting messages.

MARCH   Deliverance Weekly activity on Care Group meeting: Week 3: Community Clean-Up Activity: Organize a neighborhood or park clean-up, demonstrating stewardship of God’s creation.

MARCH   Deliverance Weekly activity on Care Group meeting: Week 4: Reflection and Group Discussion Activity: After completing the community service project, gather by YCG team for debriefing and bible reading and reflections. Discuss the following, For Debriefing: How did serving others make you feel? Did you see God’s presence in the people you served? How does serving others strengthen our faith? How can we continue to serve in our daily lives?

MARCH   Deliverance Weekly activity on Care Group meeting: For Scripture Passages to Read: Matthew 25:35-40 – Jesus speaks about serving others as serving him. Mark 10:45 – Jesus came to serve, not to be served. Galatians 5:13 – “Serve one another humbly in love.” Discussion Points for Reflection: What does it mean to serve others in Christ’s name? How can acts of kindness bring glory to God? Why is it important to serve others as Jesus did? What are the challenges of serving, and how can we overcome them through God’s strength?

MARCH   Deliverance Weekly activity on Care Group meeting: How it works: Gather your YCG head/leader and give the assigned task and specific task that week. Prepare all the necessary needs like letters to community and hospitals submit a month before. Prepare planning to other ministries involve like prayer network ministry. As well, prepare the projects with money involvement to avoid delay. Ensure that everyone participates, fostering a spirit of teamwork and unity in service.

APRIL   Covenant and Law Weekly activity on Care Group meeting: PASSOVER REFLECTION SERVICE GOAL: To deepen understanding of the redemptive work of Jesus Christ as the Passover Lamb who delivers believers from sin and death. Provides a time of reflection on the sacrifice of Christ, enhances a spirit of gratitude, and emphasizes the Christian call to live in humility, service, and love, just as Jesus did. Week 1: Communion Service Activity: The YCG teams must engage with the communion service (santa sena) foot washing.

APRIL   Covenant and Law Weekly activity on Care Group meeting: How it works: Check the schedule of communion service and inform the YCG to prepare and involve in the communion service. The practice of foot washing as part of communion service, emulating the humility and servanthood that Christ demonstrated during the Last Supper (John 13:1-17). The bread represents Jesus’ body, broken for us, and the wine symbolizes His blood, shed for the forgivenesss of our sins. Reflecting on the significance of these symbols can help deepen the participants’ understanding of Christ’s sacrifice.

APRIL   Covenant and Law Weekly activity on Care Group meeting: Week 2: Lamb of God Reflection Activity: After reading passages like John 1:29 and 1 Corinthians 5:7, the YCG can take time to reflect by group on the role of Jesus as the Passover Lamb. How it works: Discuss and reflect the following questions: What does it mean for you personally that Jesus is the “Lamb of God” who takes away your sin? How doea Jesus’ sacrifice as the Passover Lamb bring you hope and assurance? How can we demonstrate the love of the Lamb of God in our relationship with others?

APRIL   Covenant and Law Weekly activity on Care Group meeting: Week 3: The Passover Lamb Activity: Create a symbolic “Lamb of God”, where youth or participants can create representations of the Lamb (using art supplies, symbols or even a dramatic skit). How it works: After creating the lambs, each YCG member can share their understanding of how Jesus, as the Lamb, brings spiritual freedom and eternal life. This reinforces the idea that Jesus is the perfect sacrifice, just as the lamb in the original Passover was spotless and without blemish.

APRIL   Covenant and Law Weekly activity on Care Group meeting: Week 4: Time for Personal Reflection and Prayer Activity: Set aside time for individuals to reflect on the meaning of Passover in their lives. How it works: Here are guided prayer points for each of YCG teams to consider: Thanking Jesus for His sacrifice as the ultimate Passover Lamb. Asking for forgiveness for sins and for strength to live a life of gratitude and service. Reflecting on how Christ’s sacrifice calls believers to live in love, humility, and service to others.

APRIL NOTE: The scheduled week for communion service may vary depending on the schedule of foot washing by local churches, just swap with the later activity to accomplish the Passover Reflection Service activity.

MAY   Kings and Prophets Weekly activity on Care Group meeting: YOUTH LEADERSHIP WORKSHOP GOAL: To equip them with the biblical foundation, personal character development, and practical skills needed for effective Christian leadership and help them cultivate a deeper relationship with God as they prepare to serve Him through leadership. Week 1: Leadership Workshops & Skill-building Sessions Activity: These workshops and skill building sessions will let them engage in developing leadership skills. Here are the topics to teach them: Effective Communication - how to communicate effectively, both in public speaking and in one-on-one conversations. Practice giving speeches, leading discussions, and providing constructive feedback.

MAY   Kings and Prophets Weekly activity on Care Group meeting: Conflict Resolution - how to handle conflicts, both in the church and in personal relationships. This could include role-playing scenarios and discussion about biblical principles of reconciliation. Time Management and Organization - how to prioritize tasks, balance school and church activities, and set realistic goals. Decision Making & Problem-solving - how to make decisions that honor God and reflect Christ's values. Use case studies or role-playing to allow youth to practice making decisions in leadership situations.

MAY   Kings and Prophets Weekly activity on Care Group meeting: How it works: Make the topics direct as possible to utilized all the topics in one sitting. Prepare the workshops and skill building sessions a month before. You can invite speaker or have your Pastor or Church leader to deliver the topics.

MAY   Kings and Prophets Weekly activity on Care Group meeting: Week 2: Mentorship & Small Group Discussions Activity: After you have completed the leadership workshop, the YCG teams will by then mentored and express their thoughts in small group discussions. Here are the activities: Mentorship Sessions - Pair youth with older leaders or mentors who can share experiences and provide advice. These smaller, more intimate settings foster personal growth and relationship-building. Roundtable Discussions – Have YCG discussions where youth can share their challenges, goals, and visions for leadership. Encourage openness and provide guidance from Scripture.

MAY   Kings and Prophets Weekly activity on Care Group meeting: Prayer Partners - Have youth partner up for prayer support throughout mentoring and small group discussions. This helps build spiritual connections and encourages accountability in leadership growth. How it works: Tie up with the Church leaders to help the YCG’s to be mentored and have each YCG’s a small discussions for leadership concerns/queries.

MAY   Kings and Prophets Weekly activity on Care Group meeting: W eek 3: Prayer & Spiritual Empowerment Activity: Together with the prayer partner or prayer team have an understanding of the connection of prayer in leadership. Here are the activities: Prayer Time - A dedicated time of prayer where youth pray for one another, asking for guidance and wisdom in their leadership. Prayer can also be an opportunity to anoint or bless the youth leaders in a special ceremony, recognizing the importance of spiritual strength in leadership.

MAY   Kings and Prophets Weekly activity on Care Group meeting: Empowerment through the Holy Spirit - Discuss the role of the Holy Spirit in equipping leaders for service and encourage youth to pray for the gifts of the Spirit to empower their leadership. How it works: Decide whether by pair or by group, but pair is recommended. Prayed for one another, wisdom in leadership and gifts of the Spirit to empower leadership, after praying have a discussion of your pair or group of the role of Holy Spirit in equipping leaders for service.

MAY   Kings and Prophets Weekly activity on Care Group meeting: Week 4: Closing Ceremony & Commitment Service Activity: After the workshop and spiritual empowerment, let the YCG’s team be committed in Christ service. By combining spiritual teachings, practical leadership skills, hands-on experience, and personal reflection, a Youth Leadership Workshop can empower young Adventists to become strong, Christ-centered leaders in their communities and churches. How it works: Hold a commissioning or dedication service with the guidance of Pastor/s and Church leaders where each youth commits to serving as a leader in the church and community, empowered by the Holy Spirit. And, Celebrate the achievements of the youth during the workshop. Recognize their efforts, growth, and potential. This can be a time of affirmation and encouragement as they step into leadership roles.

JUNE   Wisdom Literature Weekly activity on Care Group meeting: MUSIC AND PRAISE NIGHT GOAL: To glorify God through music, and testimonies and uplift the YCG teams and congregation through heartfelt worship and music. Inspire the YCG teams to live a life of praise and gratitude to God. Week 1: Themed Musical Performances Activity: Organize musical presentations based on a theme, such as “God’s Love,” “Victory in Christ,” or “Faith and Hope.” How it works: By YCG or individual or pair will perform and include songs that align with the theme, like “How Great Thou Art” for God’s greatness or “I Surrender All” for a focus on surrender. Performance can also include: Choir renditions Solo and duet acts Instrumental performances (piano, guitar, violin, etc.)

JUNE   Wisdom Literature Weekly activity on Care Group meeting: Week 2: Testimony Through Song Activity: Invite individuals/groups or any of the YCG members to share a testimony of how God has worked in their lives, followed by a song that reflects their experience. How it works: Someone who has experienced God’s healing could sing a song like “Great is Thy Faithfulness” or “Goodness of God.”

JUNE   Wisdom Literature Weekly activity on Care Group meeting: Week 3: Devotional Message Activity: A short devotional message or sermonette centered on the power of praise and worship in the Christian life. How it works: Invite your Pastor/Church leader to deliver the message and have a theme for the message, here’s an example theme: “The Power of Music in Worship” “Praise as a Weapon Against Discouragement” (based on 2 Chronicles 20:21-22).

JUNE   Wisdom Literature Weekly activity on Care Group meeting: Week 4: Scripture and Music Integration Activity: Combine Bible readings with songs that complement the Scripture’s message or you can utilize Bible readings with scripture songs. How it works: To connect the messages in Scripture with music, choose a Scripture and integrate its message with music. You can also choose a scripture songs to sing. Here’s an example for Scripture message: Psalm 23, followed by choir/solo/duet/group singing “Shepherd of My Soul.” Psalm 150 (a psalm of praise), followed by “Praise the Lord.”

Week 1: Christ's Life in Prophecy Activity: Host an evening devotional that explores how the life of Christ fulfilled Old Testament prophecies. Examples: Isaiah 7:14 (His virgin birth). Isaiah 53 (His suffering and sacrifice). Micah 5:2 (His birth in Bethlehem). How it works: All the YCG team must be present to witness the spiritual significance of Christ’s life. After, conclude with a prayer of gratitude for God’s plan of salvation.

JULY   Jesus’ Teachings Weekly activity on Care Group meeting: Week 2: “Who Is Jesus to Me? Activity: Every YCG will discuss personal views and experiences with Jesus. Use questions like: What story or aspect of Jesus' life inspires you the most? How has Jesus’ example influenced your daily life? What does it mean for you to follow Christ today? How it works: Allow each member can share and conclude with a group sharing session.

JULY   Jesus’ Teachings Weekly activity on Care Group meeting: Week 3: Bible Study: Lessons from Jesus’ Teachings Activity: Conduct a Bible study or small group discussion focused on Jesus' teachings. Topics could include: “The Beatitudes” (Matthew 5:1-12). “The Parables” (e.g., The Prodigal Son in Luke 15:11-32). “Loving Your Enemies” (Matthew 5:43-48). How it works: Invite a Pastor or Church leaders to conduct the Bible Study or small group discussion. Provide study guides with thought-provoking questions.

JULY   Jesus’ Teachings Weekly activity on Care Group meeting: Week 4: Skit or Drama on Jesus' Ministry Activity: Create a skit or reenactment of key moments in Jesus' ministry, such as: The feeding of the 5,000 (John 6:1-14). Jesus calming the storm (Mark 4:35-41). The healing of the paralytic (Mark 2:1-12). How It Works: Assign roles to each member of every YCG. Use simple props or costumes to make the story come alive. Incorporate narrations that explain the significance of each event.

How it works: Partnered with the teachers at your Church and/or Barangay social workers or any related profession or master in the chosen topics to offer in the community. Offer spiritual resources or invite participants to Bible studies after the sessions.

AUGUST   Early Church Weekly activity on Care Group meeting: Week 2: Community Gardening Project Activity: Start a community garden where people can learn about healthy eating and grow their own food. How it works: Partnered with missionary or church members who are well-versed in healthy foods and vegetarian cooking. Offer health-focused Bible studies and vegetarian cooking demonstrations.

AUGUST   Early Church Weekly activity on Care Group meeting: Week 3: Health and Wellness Fair Activity: Host a community health fair that provides free services such as: Blood pressure and blood sugar checks. Health and nutrition counseling. Free exercise or cooking classes. Health lectures on lifestyle diseases. Distribute literature like The Ministry of Healing or health-related magazines. How it works: Choose on the suggested free services and contact individuals that can help the YCG in facilitating the service/s. Prepare ahead the letter to the community target.

AUGUST   Early Church Weekly activity on Care Group meeting: Week 4: Music and Praise in the Park Activity: Organize a public concert or praise night in a park, featuring Adventist choirs or musicians. How it works: Share short devotionals or testimonies between songs. Invite attendees to learn more about Adventism or join Bible studies.

Week 1: Devotional Readings and Reflections Activity: Provide a daily devotional guide with readings from the Bible and writings from Steps to Christ, The Desire of Ages, or other Adventist resources. How it works: In a week prepare the readings and encourage personal journaling of insights and answered prayers. Include reflection questions and suggested Scriptures to meditate on.

SEPTEMBER   Letters of Encouragement Weekly activity on Care Group meeting: Week 2: A Week Prayer Sessions Activity: Hold a week prayer gathering at the church, in homes, or online. Each session can focus on a specific theme, such as: Thanksgiving and praise. Confession and repentance. Intercession for family, church, and community. Revival and spiritual growth. Mission and evangelism. How it works: Choose if physical or online prayer for a week. Every meeting one theme to focus on in prayer.

SEPTEMBER   Letters of Encouragement Weekly activity on Care Group meeting: Week 3: Fasting and Spiritual Discipline Activity: Encourage every YCG to fast in a way that suits their health and lifestyle. Options include: Full-day fasting with water only. Partial fasting (e.g., skipping one meal or abstaining from certain foods). Fasting from distractions like social media or entertainment. Combine fasting with focused prayer times. How it works: Let the members decide what option they will choose as they fast and what day in a week and how many times they will fast in that specific week. Encourage them to include prayer as they fast and write in their journal what might they observe or their realizations as they do the fasting and prayer. Share those things during the weekly meet up.

SEPTEMBER   Letters of Encouragement Weekly activity on Care Group meeting: Week 4: Community Prayer Walk Activity: Organize a prayer walk where the YCG’s walk through their neighborhoods, schools, or workplaces to pray silently or in groups for: Families in the area. Leaders and decision-makers. Community needs. How it works: The members may decide whether to walk in group or by pair so not to distract the people around.

Week 1, 2, 3, and 4: Bible Prophecy Lectures Activity: Present topics like: The prophecies of Daniel (e.g., the statue in Daniel 2 or the beasts in Daniel 7). The messages of the three angels in Revelation 14. Signs of Christ’s second coming and the meaning of the millennium. The sanctuary and its prophetic significance. Key Adventist doctrines tied to prophecy, like the Sabbath, the state of the dead, and the investigative judgment.

OCTOBER   Revelation and Hope Weekly activity on Care Group meeting: How it works: Plan if it will be in Church or in a barangay and invite Pastor or Church leader/s to conduct the prophecy seminar. Use visual aids like PowerPoint slides, videos, or printed handouts to enhance understanding.

How it works: Encourage YCG to bring dishes that represent blessings in their lives (e.g., family recipes). Begin the meal with a prayer of thanks and testimonies.

How it works: YCG members can recount personal or church-related blessings and answered prayers from the year. Include a time for giving thanks through prayer and song.

DECEMBER   Advent and Anticipation Weekly activity on Care Group meeting: Week 4: Year-in-Review Slideshow or Video Activity: Prepare a presentation highlighting major events, ministries, and achievements of the YCG and church throughout the year. Include photos, videos, and testimonies from various YCG teams and Church departments. Acknowledge volunteers and leaders who contributed to the YCG and church’s success. How it works: Ask your media team in local church to facilitate the output of the Year-in-Review. Compile the photos, videos and testimony to use by the media team, if need for editing.
