- Around the 1930's there was a 14 year old boy who
lived with his Grandma. Every morning he buys his
grandma pandesal. On his route back home is the
house of an old spaniard's niece, who he liked and is
his classmate
- He joined Pete Saez' band as a violinist to save
money for a brooch he intended to give to Aida, the
spaniard's niece . His life long dream is to become a
violinist but his aunt doesn't like the idea.

5. THE PLOT

- The band got invited to play at a party that
also happens to be a party Aida was invited to
as well. He tries to stuff some food into his
pocket when he gets caught by Aida.
- Embarrassed and ashamed, he threw away
the food he tried to steal and headed home.
- Pete walked him home and on the way they
stopped at the bakery and watched the
bakers make some bread.

6. CONFLICT
The conflict in this here is that the boy wants
to be with a rich girl and become a violinist
even though his aunt doesn't support him .

7. THEME
The Bread of Salt's theme is the fact you have to
accept reality and move forward in life.
