CELL Prokaryotic Eukaryotic CELL TYPES

CELL The basic unit of life. Found in all living things, from single-celled organisms to complex multicellular organisms like humans. They come in various shapes and sizes, but all have some common features. All living things can be sorted into one of two groups depending on the fundamental structure of their cells. Eukaryotes Human Plants Animals Arhea Bacteria Prokaryotes

CELL All living things can be sorted into one of two groups depending on the fundamental structure of their cells. Eukaryotes Human Plants Animals Archaea Bacteria Prokaryotes Organisms with eukaryotic cells are called eukaryotes. Eukaryotes can be unicellular or multicellular organisms. Eukaryotic cells have a nucleus that stores its DNA. Eukaryotes have a linear DNA Eukaryotic cells contain membrane-bound organelles. These organelles enables the compartmentalization of cell functions and also organizing the space inside the cell

Eukaryotes have a linear DNA Eukaryotic cells contain membrane-bound organelles. These organelles enables the compartmentalization of cell functions and also organizing the space inside the cell Organisms with prokaryotic cells are called prokaryotes. Prokaryotes are always uni-cellular organisms. Prokaryotes cells have no nucleus, DNA floats freely in the cytoplasm and that area is called nucleoid. Prokaryotes have a circular DNA Prokaryotic cells have no membrane bound organelles. Prokaryotic cells are way simpler as they have no membrane bound organelles but still they are able to perform complex functions as eukaryotic cells do

CELL Eukaryots are way complex they have many organelles Prokaryots are way simpler cells with no organelles. Eukaryotic Cell Prokaryotic Cell

CELL There is a well defined nucleus that contains the DNA of the cell. Prokaryotic cells have no nucleus, but an area where DNA floats freely which is called nucleoid. Nucleoid Nucleus

Interesting Facts about Cell Humans has estimated to have 100 trillion cells or even more. The largest known cell is an ostrich egg Procryotic cells are said to be the oldest form of life on this earth, and they are said to have exitsed 3.8–4 billion years ago.
