2. Where Did They Live The Cheyenne tribe lived in Colorado, Kansas, Wyoming, Nebraska, and South Dakota.

3. Homes The Cheyenne lived in teepees, wigwams, and lodges.

4. Clothing Cheyenne women wore deerskin dresses and braids in their hair. Cheyenne men wore buffalo leggings and deerskin vests.

5. Food These are the foods the Cheyenne ate: corn, squash, beans, buffalo, deer, fish, fruit, and berries. This is how the Cheyenne got their foods: fished, hunted, and picked from trees.

6. Jobs The Cheyenne children helped their parents. The Cheyenne children also hunted with their uncles and their father. Cheyenne children did not go to school or learn the ABCs. Cheyenne women cooked, built, cleaned, and dragged heavy pots. Cheyenne men were warriors, hunters, and responsible for there families.

10. Fun Facts Cheyenne children by age of six could ride horses. The Cheyenne followed buffalo and killed them when they got hungry. Cheyenne means ‘’ Little Cree ’’. The Cheyenne are from the Great Plains.
