2. The following Wikipedia map shows the ports developed by China for
commercial and military reasons. Port 6 (Thailand), ports 7-8 (Myanmar),
port 9 (Bangladesh), port 10 (Sri Lanka), port 11 (Maldives) and port 12
(Pakistan), are of special concern to India. The Indians believe that with the
help of these ports China is expanding her influence in the Indian Ocean and
she is encircling India.
